Growing up, dogs were always an important part of our family, and I understand how much trust you’re placing in someone when you invite them to care for your pet. My goal is to make every walk a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for both you and your dog. I’m dependable, attentive to your dog’s individual needs, and committed to providing the same level of care and attention I would expect for my own pets. I provide safe, attentive, and personalized care during every dog walk. Before our first walk, I’ll learn about your dog’s personality, energy level, walking habits, leash behavior, triggers, and any routines or commands you’d like me to follow. During each walk, I’ll follow your instructions regarding the leash, route, pace, and safety while paying close attention to your dog and their surroundings. I’ll adjust the walk to your dog’s needs, whether they prefer an active walk or a slower stroll with plenty of time to sniff and explore. I’ll also follow your preferences for bathroom breaks and interactions with other dogs or people. At the end of the walk, I’ll safely return your dog home and provide an update on how the walk went. My goal is for every dog to feel comfortable, cared for, and happy throughout our time together.

Rachel and her family took such great care of our dog while we were gone over the week of Christmas. I was really apprehensive about leaving him for so long but we received so many pictures, videos and updates that I never doubted how he was doing. He got a bit muddy playing outside with their dog and Rachel even gave him a bath, so he came home cleaner than we dropped him off! We will absolutely be looking to book with Rachel and her family again if our dog needs to stay somewhere!
This was my first time using rover and I was very cautious about leaving my puppies with someone but I came across Rachel profile and I read her information
Zola had her first day of doggie day care yesterday with Rachel. She had so much fun and was worn out when she got home! Rachel sent pics throughout the day and played fetch and took her on 2 walks. We'll definitely be using Rachel again for doggie day care!
If you are trying to find a good and reliable dog sitter then look no further. Rachel and her family were awesome with my 2 year old Border Collie who at times can be very energetic and a little hard to tame. They have a 3 year old yellow Lab of their own named Daisy. Rachel's family has bred Labs for years so they know a lot about dogs and how important it is to treat them well. They have a nice fenced-in back yard where the dogs can play and that was a huge selling point for me. I highly recommend them. :)
Rachel has been my dog sitter for the last 3 years or so. She and her husband Chase are such great people! They have very caring personalities and my boxer Maggie gets so excited to stay with them whenever she sees us packing our bags to leave on a trip. Maggie is diabetic and I've never had to worry about her insulin shots. In fact, when Maggie was diagnosed, Rachel showed me how to properly give her the shots when the vet forgot! I HIGHLY recommend!
Rachel gave me so much peace of mind when dropping off my puppy. Had expectations and she met all of them plus more. My Rosie was well taken care of and my experience was amazing. Can't say enough about how happy I was with this service!!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m a stay at home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate time to dog walking throughout the day. I’m typically available for walks in the morning and afternoon, and I enjoy being outside and staying active. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to accommodate regular weekly walks as well as occasional walks when you need an extra hand. I take each walk seriously and make sure I have enough time to give your dog my full attention rather than rushing through the visit. I’m happy to work with owners to establish a consistent schedule that works well for both them and their dog.

- Before each walk, I like to learn about your dog’s personality, energy level, walking habits, and comfort around people, children, and other dogs. It’s also helpful to know about any fears, triggers, medical conditions, allergies, medications, dietary restrictions, or special needs. I’ll ask about leash behavior, bathroom habits, and any commands or routines you’d like me to follow. Please also let me know what to do if your dog encounters another animal, becomes anxious, or needs extra space.
