Safe, loving care for your pup!
I have two dogs at home who are truly my babies, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I trained one of my dogs to earn AKC certification, and both of my dogs now participate in therapy dog visits at senior homes and high schools. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to work with dogs in different environments, read their body language, and keep them calm and comfortable. I also have experience house sitting and caring for my friend’s dog who was blind and diabetic. She required twice-daily insulin injections, so I am comfortable following detailed care instructions and being attentive to special medical needs. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I will treat them with the same love and care I give my own dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently offer care in the client’s home and/or walks. Safety is always my first priority, so I stay attentive to your pet at all times and do not get distracted on my phone during walks or visits. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure, and I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In your home, I will respect your space and follow any instructions you provide for feeding, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and comfort. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

Rachel is an absolute gem! I have two overweight French Bulldogs, and thanks to her help, I'm now proud to say they're on their way to being Westminster-worthy. My dogs are usually very wary of strangers, but within just a week they would get excited every time they saw her. It's clear that Rachel genuinely cares about the animals she works with and has a natural ability to earn their trust. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and wonderful pet sitter or walker.

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student, so my schedule can vary week to week. Because of that, I prefer at least 1 day of advance notice so I can make sure I’m fully available and able to give your pet the attention they deserve. When I commit to a booking, I take it seriously and will plan my schedule around your pet’s care needs, whether that includes walks, feeding, playtime, medication, or extra cuddles.
