I live on a small homestead with my husband, a stay-at-home dad and disabled veteran, and our four children. I’m a self-employed Realtor and the owner of LABZ Pet and Farm Sitting Services LLC, so I have the flexibility to build my schedule around my clients’ needs. I’m currently attending Unity Environmental University, working toward my Bachelor of Science in Companion Animal Behavior. My program is fully online, which means I can bring my laptop with me and easily keep up with coursework during overnight stays or extended sits.

Safety, trust & environment
I strictly follow the guidelines and routines you provide, because you know your pets best. When no specific instructions are given, I use a thoughtful, age-appropriate schedule for dogs and cats at different life stages. In general, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and engaged: walking and playtime, refilling food and water according to your specifications, cleaning up any messes, and providing baths when needed. I can also pick up pet supplies or groceries upon request, so you come home to happy pets and a stress-free environment.
Information Rachel C. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if your pet has a specific diet, feeding schedule, or daily routine so I can keep everything consistent and low-stress for them. Please also share any medical needs, including medications, allergies, past injuries, or mobility issues, so I can care for them safely and comfortably. If you have any exotic pets or farm animals that need care, leave detailed instructions (and any fun quirks I should know about) so I can follow your setup exactly.
A typical day
For dogs, a typical day is all about fun and connection: we’ll play chase, tag, fetch, and tug-of-war, with plenty of breaks for belly rubs and affection. For kitties, I focus on mental and physical enrichment with feather toys, laser pointer games, and interactive play, plus lots of gentle scratches and love so they feel safe, relaxed, and entertained.

Pet care experience
Growing up in the animal rescue and care world, I’ve looked after everything from horses to mice. Over the years, I’ve fostered, reconditioned, and rehomed abused and abandoned animals, helping them learn to trust again. I’m experienced in animal behavior across life stages, including neonatal and senior pets. My goal is to provide every animal I meet with as much love, guidance, and attentive care as they deserve.
Reviews

Rachel was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond on short notice. My (3) girls were well taken care of and I highly recommend her!!

The house on the puppies were well-maintained and happy! Everything was as I left it and they got lots of exercise. Would highly recommend her for overnights and drop Ins.
I love how Rachel works with my nutty schedule and spends quality time with my 6 fur babies. She has a lot of experience and knowledge and it shows. I highly recommend her. I can’t wait to use her again!
