From 27th April I will be working full time Monday to Friday. I am a nurse . So for twice daily visits it will be early in the morning around 7am and after work about 6pm. For indoor cats I spend a minimum of half an hour each visit. For outdoor cats, it depends and I am led by the cats needs really. Most outdoor cats eat and run so I do my duties and leave. But if they want to hang out with me I give them at least half an hour too.

I feed your cat how you like it done. Change water and make sure everything is kept clean, tidy and refreshed for them. Indoor cats especially tend to need a little hoover up after. Scratchy cardboard and fluff sure goes a long way! I like to do this for you so it’s all nice for you to come home to.
Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there are any health concerns or particular behaviours to look out for. I like to know if you would like lots of photos or just the one or two I’ll make on the app to record my visits
A typical day
I tend to come in and spend some time petting the kitty if they are there. Most indoor cats come to greet me but the outdoor cats are sometimes out and about. I then wash bowls, refresh food and water, then do the litter tray. Once that’s all done I offer them playtime or just more attention! like to know if they have a favourite toy too and if they like a lazer pointer I like to use it to play hunt the treats so they get a reward for their efforts

Shelby’s Mum cat sitting service
Cat care experience
I live in Poole. I’m a registered nurse with the NHS and therefore DBS/Police checked. I have also ran a couple of AirBnBs in recent years and made Superhost status both times. So, I know how to look after a home. I had cat, Shelby, who was my soul cat and very much my family. Sadly she passed last year and I have not adopted another cat as I needed time and now I am hopefully moving house soon, staying within the Dorset area. I gave my Shelby the best food I could afford and kept up with her flea and worming treatments every three months. I am very adept with a flea drop dropper! She had her vaccinations and medical check ups every year and a decent insurance plan. She was a wonderful companion and emotional support. So I understand that someone’s cat is a member of their family and I will look after your fur babies with the utmost care and dedication. Before Shelby I grew up with cats in the family. They were black-and-white and called Button and Tootsie. One day my Mum just bought home these two kittens that she had rescued and I have adored cats ever since and learned to care for them from when I was a child. My nursing schedule is within normal working hours, which works very well with cat sitting. I am delighted to be signing up for cat sitting duties. I have also applied to be a cats protection volunteer to give back to the felines of this world in honour of my late Shelby who gave me so much love.
Reviews
Rachel really is a fantastic cat sitter! She went above and beyond for my cat. She left a diary of all her daily activities, such as how much she ate, whether she went out etc. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again. Thank you Rachel

Absolutely cannot recommend Rachel enough. She sent so many pictures and updates, was so so so good with our cat Ray and we will 100% be asking her to catsit again. Would give more stars if I could!!
Rachel was a lovely , friendly reliable cat sitter . She came to visit Athena a few days prior to the sit to familiarise herself with things . She sent photo updates which was so lovely and reassuring to us . Would not hesitate to recommend her .
We are very happy with the care Grizzy received by Rachel. Rachel took amazing care of her. Grizzy came back looking great, relaxed and clearly very well looked after. Rachel sent us WhatsApp updates and photos every day, which really reassured us. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. We will definitely book again!
