Coming from a family of dog lovers, I have been caring for my own dogs and others' for over 30 years. I've always had a love for animals, my 1st job I was a pet sitter and right now with my schedule it has been great to be able to take care of others pets again. I have fostered dogs the last few years also and can't wait to find the best dog for our family, the 1st dog for my son. I will care for your pet as my own with lots of love & playing and any needs will be taken care of. My son is my sidekick, great with & loves all animals like me and a big help playing with them when owners allow it (and of course if the dog likes children but he’s never met a dog that didn’t like him!) I offer many different types of services to suit your needs so please let me know how I can help!

I really appreciate Rachel taking care of my pup for the day. She was very responsive and shared some cute pics.
Brutus was the same dog that I dropped off. No new habits and the same demeanor. That lets me know that Rachel did everything we asked and gave him exactly the kind of love that we give him.

Rachel took such good care of our boy while my family visited and explored Charleston! He was immediately very comfortable with her and she shared frequent photo updates. Highly recommend leaving your pet with her!
Leaving a pet with someone new can be hard but we knew Murphy was in great hands! Rachel was prompt, communicative, and attentive. Our house was also spotless when we returned, which was lovely.

A typical day
We live in a nice dog walking neighborhood in Riverland Terrace on James Island. Sometimes we may walk to the community garden or Plymouth park by the river or quick drive to JI county park dog park if your pup likes to socialize. Also in our small fenced yard we play ball, water fun in kiddie pool, or just bask in the sun!
