Fur baby enthusiast!
I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I had my own dog from a young age — he was my everything. Sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago, and I’ve missed the companionship of having a dog ever since. I’ve cared for dogs with diabetes and epilepsy which taught me a lot about administering injections and other medications. In addition, I completed an animal husbandry course at college during my final year of high school, which gave me a solid foundation in animal care and wellbeing.

Rachel is super friendly and was amazing with Stanley, taking him on several walks and sending regular photos and updates. It was our wedding day so we needed someone reliable and competent, which is exactly what we got! Highly recommend :)
Rachel was brilliant with Ringo, provided nice updates and pictures throughout the day and kept in communication to make sure we could make his stay work. As a generally nervous dog he seemed completely relaxed thanks to Rachel’s calmness and willingness to put up with a silly boy for a day, couldn’t recommend her enough!
Rachel is very reliable, keeps constantly in touch sending pics and short messages daily.
Rachel is just amazing. She is lovely and she is so nice and respectful. She took care of our two cats like they were her own, and she is one of the very few people that took care of our house and left it as they found it, clean and tidy. Our cats loved her. She kept contact every day and she was updating us with pictures. I would definitely book Rachel again and consider her as my first choice when we require someone in the future. Thanks a lot Rachel again, we really appreciate it! 😊xx
Rachel was absolutely fantastic with our wee pup Pinto. He settled with her really quickly and she sent us loads of pictures of his adventures. Would 100% recommend :)
Rachel was very quick to respond to my initial message, and went out her way to come meet our pup before dog sitting so they could get to know eachother before. Very good at updating us and taking pics of their time together! Angus seemed very content when we got home which is a great sign ! Will definitely be booking her again :)

Schedule
I work full-time with the Scottish Government, and I’m available after 3 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I’m fully available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and weekends.

I love spending time outdoors, especially going on long nature walks or visiting the beach — it would be a joy to have a pup join me! I like within 5 minutes walk from Queen’s Park which is perfect for a long walk. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority, and I would care for them as if they were my own. I’m committed to following all guidelines and instructions to ensure your dog is safe, comfortable, and happy at all times.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged through a mix of fun activities tailored to their personality and energy levels. This might include long walks through nature or playtime at the park. For more playful pups, I’d bring along toys for games like fetch or tug-of-war, while calmer dogs might enjoy some quiet cuddle time or enrichment games at home like a lick mat. No matter the activity, my goal is always to make sure your pet feels loved, stimulated, and content.
