Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Hello my name is Rachel. I am looking to pet sit for people who need someone who is reliable and trustworthy. Since senior year of high school I have been studying veterinary assiants and ended up working 4 years at veterinary hospitals. My previous job was in Redlands at Animal Medical Center. I worked there for 2 wonderful years! I absolutely loved my job. I worked until the week I had my baby and was told that I was always more than welcome to come back. However we wanted to have a bigger family so I have been a stay at home mom for now. I have 3 amazing boys. And are furry children are 3 cats and 2 dog. Animals and children are the most precious things in life. I love being around them and helping take care of them. I have taken care of a friends rabbit, birds, goats, and hens before while they went on vacation for a week. :) I have a lot of experience on giving medication to animals, nail trimming, what to look for in health concerns, and training. I also helped do boarding at my old job. I have fostered cats and dogs in the past as well. I was in 4-H dog training for 2 years growing up. And competed with many others. Please contact me with any questions you have! All that I require you bring is your dogs food. I DO NOT WATCH DOGS WHO...... Are aggressive with children or men! Aggressive with other dogs or cats! Or have extreme separation anxiety The only time I am out of my home is if I need to run down the street to the grocery store or if I am going to the gym to work out. I homeschool my children. And dog sitting and doggy day care is my full time job. My flexibility is something I am very good with. I try my best be as avaible as possible for last minute plans for my clients. I have a giant fenced in yard with a doggy pool and plenty of shade. All dogs are treated like they are part of our family! If the heat is to much they will be kept indoors with the ac going. Depending on the rules at home will determine whether or not they aloud on the furniture. I feel its very important to keep the same rules as if they were at their own home so the pup will have no behavioral issues when going home. All dogs are fed seperate due to safety reasons and some have food allergies. I have a basket full of dog toys for dogs who like to play with them.

Rachel was attentive, loving and made my two dogs feel at home. She communicated with me throughout the week to put my mind at ease. I will use her again without hesitation when I need a dog sitter. Lovely home and family that all pitch in the care for the fur babies.
Rachel was absolutely amazing! Her communication was wonderful, she took care of my dogs like they’re were her own. There was not one moment that I was worried about them. I highly recommend!! I will be coming back😆
Rachel did an awesome job of getting us in on short notice and sent us pictures every day. I definitely recommend her and I will use her again.

I have left my dogs with Rachel several times and it’s always a great experience. She provides daily updates and pictures which are so appreciated! This time it was a week long stay and my dogs seem to have enjoyed their stay.

Schedule
I keep the same feeding schedule as at home. Refill inside and outside water dishes daily. And during the summer keep and kiddie pool filled for my dogs who enjoy splashing around. :)

Safety, trust & environment
All pets sleep inside. If your pet is crate trained I do provide crate. If they are not then they are more than welcome to sleep on their bed or my couch. All dogs are fed separate. And due to some of my dogs having food allergies they will only get the food that is brought for them.

A typical day
I have a giant back yard that we love to play ball in and frisbee. The dogs love to swim in the doggy pool. And your pup will always have a friend to play with.
