Hi! I’m Rachel, your pet’s new favorite person. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, from dogs to cats and everything in between. Because I’ve grown up caring for pets, I’m confident with all personalities and needs, shy, senior, high-energy, quirky, you name it. I recently relocated to Colorado Springs and work remotely, which means your pet gets tons of attention, a flexible schedule, and a calm, reliable companion. I can’t have a dog of my own right now, so Rover lets me do the next best thing, give local pets the same love and structure I’d give my own. Rachel did a fantastic job! Our cat Lola was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and has to take medication twice daily. Lola also got sick just before we left. Rachel provided regular updates on Lola’s health and helped to nurse her back to health while we were away. 10/10 would recommend her for caring for your animals!

Very friendly and my cats liked her, but was extremely late to a check-in with no explanation. I also got home to two gross food bowls which hadn’t been adequately cleaned between feedings. Other than that, I was pleased with her updates and my cats were cared for.
I was nervous to have someone walk my picky dog, but Rachel was great.

Schedule
I go on daily walks, and also have a fully fenced, pet-friendly space where dogs can stretch their legs, explore, and safely play. Inside, my home is clean, cozy, and set up to be stress-free for visiting pets. I’m always supervising outdoor time, and I adjust the environment based on what your pet needs, whether they’re energetic, senior, shy, or social.

I create a safe, calm, and structured environment for every pet in my care. I follow your routines closely so your dog or cat feels comfortable and secure. I’m attentive, communicative, and always keeping an eye on their needs, whether that’s extra playtime, slow introductions, or a quiet cuddle break. I make sure pets have fresh water at all times, get plenty of bathroom breaks, and feel at ease in my home or yours. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities.

A typical day
A typical day with me is relaxing, structured, and fun. We start with a morning walk to get fresh air and potty breaks, followed by breakfast and some playtime. Throughout the day, your pet gets a good balance of activity and rest, neighborhood walks, yard time, enrichment games, cuddles, and cozy nap breaks. I tailor the pace to your pet’s personality so they feel happy, stimulated, and safe.
