Animal Lover
I have had animals in my lives for 40+years each, from cats and dogs; big and little. Also living at home is my husband, teenage daughters, uni dates allowing my son, dog called Squash and cat Olive. I think we would all admit we mostly love dogs more than humans!! For me, I am always out of the moor at the weekends or we sometimes go to the woods. Living right on the park, Squash is used to heading our first thing and last thing at night around his daily adventure and he is laid back to fit into any routine as needed meaning I can treat your dog just as they are at home. They are welcome on the furniture and beds: will be treated with love and care in a great location in Ilkley. If you want to extend the weekend; I work from home on a Friday and Monday so can help. It would bring me great joy to have adventures with your loved animals and in return will ensure I send pictures and updates daily. All I ask is they are generally good with cats not an avid chaser, as we also have a cat lounging around the home called olive!

Rachel, John and their family have been fantastic with Leia. Leia can be a little nervous with new people and places, but it was clear to see from all the photos that Rachel shared that Leia was having a fabulous holiday with them and looked very relaxed around them. Rachel's flexibility to accommodate Leia at such short notice was also greatly appreciated. Highly recommended! Thanks Rachel, from both me and Leia 🐶

Rachel was fantastic. She helped us out at very short notice and made the whole experience easy and reassuring from start to finish. Leo was very well looked after, and it was clear he received lots of care and attention during his stay. Although he was a little unsettled overnight, which is very unusual for him, Rachel and her family were incredibly patient and went above and beyond to help him settle and feel comfortable. Rachel also kept us updated throughout, and it was obvious that Leo was treated like one of the family during his stay. We're very grateful for all her help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others!
Custard has had a fantastic time, I honestly couldn't have found a better set up for him. Rachel was so welcoming and knew perfectly what a black lab needs in hot weather. I was updated with plenty of photos and videos of him having a great time, going on adventures and relaxing. She was also flexible with our pick up and collection time which helped a lot with unpredictable bank holiday traffic. I'm sure he'll want to come to Rachel's for another holiday soon!
Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Rachel made Bertie ( and myself) so welcome. I was kept informed with pictures, videos and little updates so that I could relax and know my furbaby was happy. Would not hesitate to recommend and will use again. Thank you so much Rachel and family.
Rachel and her family were excellent hosts for our labrador, Honey. She was walked 3 times a day, given lots of cuddles, and rachel was in contact every day with updates about what they had done and photos of honey looking very happy to be there. Thank you, well definitely be using Rachel again when we need a dog sitter.

Schedule
I’m currently working in the week with Friday am and Mondays working from home. I'm already out and about on adventures daily (sometimes up to three times or on bigger hikes on the moor nearby at weekends) so are happy to have more four legged friends join me! Equally we can fit into your dogs routine, squash is very laid back with his!

I have a fenced Courtyard style garden, living right on the Riverside Park and within ten mins of woods or in the other direction Ilkley Moor.

A typical day
Ball Throws; Frisbee; Hiking, Woods, paddling in water and tons of cuddles and teddy time if that’s what they love too! You name it, we do most daily!
