I have recently moved to the Bridport area from London, where I previously walked dogs in my local area. I offer half hourly and hourly walks and have my own transport. In addition to dog walking I am able to offer a limited number of doggy day care slots and also drop in house visits/holiday cover for dogs, cats and smaller pets. I can feed, change litter trays and give lots of cuddles and playtime so your pet is happy and content whilst you are away.

Safety, trust & environment
Prior to taking on a new client I like to offer a free meet & greet session so we can all get to know each other and I can have a detailed conversation with you about your pets requirements. If you have booked drop in visits I’ll ask you to show me where everything is that I will need to care for your pet when I visit.

Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet
It is useful to know your pets daily schedule so I can stick to it as much as possible. Any information about how your dog is when out on a walk would also be great - can he or she be let off the lead and how is their recall, how do you usually get them to drop something they should not have in their mouth, are they likely to chase squirrels or birds etc. Similarly if you have booked a drop in session we can discuss your pets routine, favourite toys for playtime etc.
A typical day
As an owner of two dogs myself I’m very quickly becoming knowledgeable about the best places for dog walking locally including quieter areas and beaches.
Location
Bridport, United Kingdom
Pets
Animal lover available for walks and day care
Pet care experience
I am a huge animal lover and always have been. I had very understanding parents as a child so have experience of most domestic animals. I currently have my own little menagerie including a pony, two dogs, a cat and chickens. I have experience of all ages of dogs from very young puppies to dogs in their twilight years. I try to be as flexible as possible but do fit my Rover commitments in alongside teaching part time and caring for my own menagerie.
Reviews

Rachel has been great with Heidi, and has kept me posted with events during her stay. I’ll not hesitate to ask her again.

Rachel kindly sat for my lurcher, Heidi, and took her for a walk on the lead while I was out for quite a while. She kept in touch with updates, and I returned home to find a happy Heidi, settled and waiting for me. I’ll be using Rachel again.

Rachel was absolutely fantastic with Lily, who can sometimes be very difficult with new people. She was friendly, engaging and obviously has a love of pets! Will absolutely be using her again
Rachel looked after my two kittens over the Christmas period and was an absolute dream. I could tell the kittens were so happy and well looked after and Rachel gave daily updates on their well-being and updated me with pictures and feeding/cleaning information. She completely stuck to their schedule and was so helpful so would highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their pets! Will absolutely be contacting Rachel again if I need someone to look after my babies
