Pet care experience
Always & forever an animal lover
I have spent a majority of my childhood loving and looking after dogs. Besides the fact that I love dogs (which is nothing new here), and everything about dogs, my experience as a former shelter worker & volunteer, has given me an invaluable experience with animals. I have spent the past few years acquiring skills and experience to help and care for dogs, cats, & exotic animals (Like lizards, snakes, & hedgehogs). Like everyone on this, I love animals, but few can say they worked with the ASPCA, the Humane Society, the best friend society, and small shelters in Pennsylvania and New York. I love animals and would like to help you with yours in any way possible. Feel assured that when your pet is with me, they are in good hands. I hope you pick me to help you with the care of your pet baby. My schedule will vary depending on my work. But daily I am up at 6am and taking care of any foster babies or personal animals with runs, food, and cuddles. My pups and cats are allowed to roam around the house and the dogs have access to a patio. I am able to crate animals if requested.

Rachel was ready and available to do a meet and greet before watching my boys for the day. It was wonderful to have someone who was able to provide senior care.
Rachel handled our very nervous and reactive kitty with ease and professionalism. Kept us very updated throughout the trip with messages and photos and videos. She was able to problem solve through some tricky behavior and by day 3, our girl was curled up on Rachel's lap. The house was left immaculate and would definitely book with her in the future.

Rachel took great care of our two kitties every day while we were away for over a week. She communicated each visit well and shared all important information. We would happily hire her again to take care of our pets!
Book her! Rachel watched our dog who has a bite history for 17 days and did such a great job. I am a neurotic, helicopter mom - she followed all the instructions and really went above and beyond. She was so attentive and knowledgeable when it came to his naughty behaviors or if he was having any stomach problems. We were sent daily updates + tons of cute pics. She was able to handle him really well even though he has some behavioral problems. I can tell my dog loves her so much - she loves and cares for animals and you can tell with how she takes care of your pet.
Rachel was amazing from our initial chat on Rover all the way to the end of her house-sitting while I was at a wedding on the opposite coast. I'm extremely grateful for her natural love of animals, human kindness, and responsible disposition. I felt extremely comfortable with her looking after my dog (and apartment) for 6 days - not an easy task. She was wonderful in every way. Thank you for everything!

I found that dogs love parks, and run with toys they've picked out. She also loves a good shank bone. My cats love their mice toys and love to play fetch.
