I work part-time and make my own schedule so I am very available to drop in on your homebody kitties throughout the day and evening. I am not available in the early morning.

My approach to spending quality time with your cat(s) is to let them come to me. So I will enter your (their) space ;), and immediately feed them and clean their catbox, all the while not trying too hard to win their affection. And then once I’ve taken care of business I will sit down, maybe on the floor, and see if they are ready to come sniff me/see what I’m all about/let me pet them/play with them. I will respect their boundaries and I will spend time with them for as long as they are interested in me. And I’ll talk to them, of course. :)

I would need to know if your cat needs any medication administered, how to give them the best pets in their favorite places, and what their favorite toy is. Also if they try to escape or not!
A typical day
I am mostly a cat sitter, so I will certainly play with them with their toy of choice. I have found that even the ones that don’t like traditional store-bought toys like a good hair tie, or to play with the sunlight that reflects off my phone screen!

I’ve had cats since I was 8 years old, and even though I am a *self-described* cat whisperer, many cat people have agreed with that honorary title after seeing me interact with their cats. I currently live with a 15 year old tortie who I adopted when she was 6, and caring for her as she ages has taught me so much about patience, boundaries, and routine.
