Your Pet’s New Best Friend
I’ve been a pet owner for over 30 years and a dedicated pet sitter for the past decade, although I only joined Rover recently. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite things in life. I also volunteer at the Austin Animal Shelter, where I get to meet pets of all personalities, and I love discovering what makes each one unique. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and I do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved and understood. Whether your pet prefers long walks, high energy games of fetch or snuggling on the couch, I’m all in! My goal is to always provide care that feels just as comforting and fun as home. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

Quinn's first stay with Rachel was a wonderful experience — and definitely not the last! Rachel and her family showered Quinn with attention, and Rachel did a great job keeping me in the loop with regular photos and videos. So grateful for the loving care Quinn received!
Great as always!
Rachel was awesome. I am so glad I was able to find her to watch my 2 pups. She was so sweet to my stubborn older dog and even set up a little cave for my other one when she was scared of a thunderstorm. 10/10 would recommend.
As usual she was great with my anxious dog and gave great updates!
Excellent communicator and took wonderful care of my sweet Lyla! She sent a lot of pictures throughout and provided daily updates!
Rachel is an amazing pet sitter! We have booked with her consistently since joining Rover and she has been excellent every time. She’s super communicative and takes excellent care of our furball friends - would absolutely book with her again in the future!

Programa
I work in an office M-F but otherwise I’m generally home. This means I’m available for early morning, evening and weekend visits. When I’m home, I’m fully focused on your pet, whether that’s feeding, playtime, snuggles, or keeping them company. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to coordinate a schedule that works best for your pet’s routine.

I have a fully fenced backyard and a doggy door for safe, easy outdoor access. My 10-year-old Shih Tzu, Fiona, is very calm and welcoming with visiting pets. I love taking walks, playing games, and keeping animals engaged so they stay happy and never bored. Your pet will also get plenty of affection—pets, hugs, and lots of love. I can crate your dog at night if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to snooze on the couch like my own pup.

I live in a great neighborhood with plenty of shady routes for comfortable walks. There’s a grassy area right across the street that’s perfect for a game of fetch for dogs who stay close. Otherwise, we’ll enjoy playtime with toys indoors and go for walks during the most comfortable, temperature-friendly times of day. My goal is always to keep your pet happy, safe, and engaged throughout their stay.
