Some people call me a cat whisperer — I just know how to earn a cat’s trust. Whether your kitty is shy, sassy, or a lap-loving purr machine, I adapt to their behavior and make sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. I grew up with cats and I currently have a 13-year-old tabby named Biscuit. I like to visit the cats at local shelters and I develop bonds with cats quickly. I love spending time with cats in my spare time and I also love meeting my neighbors. You can trust that I’ll take care of your cat as if it was my own. I will always send lots of photos and a detailed description of my time with your cat. And I am always quick to reply to my clients. I’ve met all sorts of cats in my life and can read a cat’s behavior very well. I will give them love or space or playtime, whatever they need. 💛 With skittish kitties, I am patient and gentle. I gain their trust by sitting on the floor and talking gently to them. All of the photos in my profile are either my cat Biscuit (beige tabby), cats I’ve cared for on Rover, or cats I met in Greece or Croatia. 😻

I'm a cat and home-owner in my 40s. I care for my client’s cats as if they are my own. I use Rover when I travel so I know the importance of having a trusted and reliable cat-sitter who really loves cats. Regarding your home, I’m always security-conscious. I will be the only person checking on your cat. No one else will ever be with me. I'm happy to bring in mail and water plants (just ask!).

This is the second time Rachel has taken care of our cats. She was great. She took lots of pictures and they were very happy when we got home. She’ll be our first choice again in the future.
Rachel was a phenomenal sitter for our three cats! She is very flexible, responsive, accommodating, and most importantly, she took great care of and loved on our babies. We will definitely book with her again!
Rachel was amazing and really helped my wife and I feel at ease while on vacation. She provided detailed updates on the cats and sent so many photos. She clearly understands what cats like and both of my boys were obsessed with her.

Schedule
I have plenty of time for cat-sitting! I travel occasionally and keep my calendar up-to-date. I can do late morning, daytime, and evening drop-in visits. At this time, I generally don’t do visits before 9AM.
