Howdy neighbours! If you’re searching for quality, loving, trustworthy pet care know that I will treat your pets like they’re my family! Aside from having pets my entire life, and being a pet parents, I’ve completed training in leash-pulling techniques, recall training, pet sitting and dog walking best practices, and dog aggression management. I’m a teacher candidate with a VSC so you can trust your pets are always in safe, capable, confident hands. I also bring my own set of homemade pet treats which are a huge hit with cats and dogs!

Rachel did an incredible job boarding Brenner! She planned fun enrichment activities for him each day he stayed with her, and took great care in making sure he was comfortable. She stuck to his regular routine and provided lots of pictures and feedback at the end of each day so I could see what he how much fun he was having. Brenner is leash reactive to other dogs, and I was a little nervous about having someone else walk him but Rachel understood and had experience with other dogs with the same issue. This was my first time ever boarding Brenner in someone’s home and I am so glad I did! He came home so happy and tired, plus with a few extra homemade treats and a special gift.
Legit the best!
Rachel was excellent with our dogs, Luna and Marty. She brought them a special brain training “hide and treat”game along with homemade treats, which they both loved. It was very thoughtful way to get Marty some “exercise”, who has some mobility issues. I can’t recommend her enough!
Rachel is the absolute best caregiver for our cat Dandelion! She is passionate about what she does, and treats him like her own. There is no one else I’d leave him with as she is so nurturing, responsible, and caring!
Rachel has a true, deep love for all animals, especially dogs. Our Maltese is incredibly reactive and struggles with new people, but Rachel's calm, intuitive presence completely disarmed him. She patiently won over his trust, and he now adores her. She is incredibly responsible, deeply loving, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to care for your pets!

Schedule
Currently, I’m launching my own pet care business Puppy Love by Rachel, so my days are filled with pet care, check ins, and pet sitting that I’d be happy to schedule your pets into!

In my home, I ensure pets are comfortable and loved. I have a large yard for dogs to run in, hands free leashes for enriching walks, enrichment puzzles that I put homemade treats in, breathe right fetch balls, and lots of cuddles and toys to offer your pup! If I’m caring for your furry family members from your home, I’m happy to provide scent enrichment and sensory care for your cats and dogs! On top of this, I’m comfortable providing oral administration of any medications your fur baby may need, up keeping feeding schedules, changing litter boxes and taking dogs out for potty breaks and walks, and again, bringing homemade treats for your pet to enjoy!
A typical day
There are so many wonderful ways to support your dog! The park near my home is a wonderful place to take your dog walking. My backyard is fenced to give your pups the opportunity to run around off leash. I make my own homemade dog treats, which I love to hide in snuffle blankets and dog puzzles to stimulate their brains and help them tap into their natural foraging skills! On top of this, I’ve got breathe right chuck it balls for the best games of fetch!
