Every dog must have their day!
I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and have always been a huge dog lover. I grew up with two family dogs, a German Pinscher and a Miniature Dachshund, and was involved in raising and training them from puppies through their senior years. That experience taught me how to understand different energy levels, recognize changes in mood and behavior, and give dogs the patience and care they need at every stage of life. While in college, I regularly dog-sat for friends and family, which gave me experience caring for different breeds, personalities, and routines. Today, I have a 2-year-old energetic St. Berdoodle who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. We’ve completed professional training together, and I continue to work with him using positive reinforcement and consistent training.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so I’ll be home with your dog throughout the day and able to give them plenty of attention and supervision. We typically take two afternoon potty-break walks outside, around 15 minutes each, with additional outdoor breaks as needed throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Since I’m home all day, I’m able to keep a close eye on the dogs and step in or separate them if needed. I only care for one daycare dog at a time, which allows me to provide a calm, personalized experience rather than the busy environment of a large daycare facility. I’ll care for your dog with the same patience, attention, and care I give my own.

A typical day
Our home is a cozy, relaxed environment where your dog can spend the day hanging out, getting attention, and enjoying some playtime with my dog. We also have a large patio for dogs who enjoy getting some fresh air throughout the day. While we don’t have a large yard, my 2-year-old St. Berdoodle is energetic, playful, and loves having a friend around. He’s also a total Velcro dog who loves being near people and is happiest when he has companionship. Our setup is especially well-suited for dogs who enjoy a calmer, home-based daycare experience rather than a large group setting. My dog does well with other dogs but can feel overwhelmed or intimidated around multiple dogs at once, which is why we intentionally keep daycare to just one guest dog at a time. If your dog is similar and would prefer a cozy home, lots of human attention, and one doggy friend to play with, we may be a great fit!
