Availability

I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide flexible and attentive care throughout the day. Because I’m home, pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and companionship rather than being left alone for long periods. My schedule is especially flexible for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting before work, during lunch breaks, after work, and on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment

I work from home, so pets in my care are rarely left alone and receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood and have a yard for potty breaks and outdoor time. While my yard is not fenced, all outdoor time is closely supervised. I can accommodate both crated and non-crated dogs and have a crate available if needed. I am happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medication administration, exercise needs, and sleeping arrangements. As an active foster through Cincinnati Animal CARE, I have experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and secure.

Information Racheal B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about any special needs, medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of before your pet’s stay. I would also love to know about their daily routine, favorite activities, feeding schedule, and how they interact with other dogs and people.

A typical day

A typical day includes plenty of exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention tailored to your pet’s needs. Because I work from home, pets receive regular potty breaks, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I live in the Mariemont area and Murray Path is directly across the street from my home, making it easy to provide safe, convenient walks throughout the day. I also live near several parks and green spaces including Bramble and Dogwood Park, giving dogs plenty of opportunities to explore new sights, sounds, and smells.

Pet care experience

In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteer with Cincinnati Animal CARE and Ohio Alleycat Resource and have experience fostering dogs and cats. I treat every animal in my care like they’re my own and will always keep you updated with photos, messages, and plenty of reassurance while you’re away.

We used Rachel for the first time as our usual dog sitter was busy. I would definitely use her again. She was very flexible and was able to communicate with us even when we were traveling outside the country. Taffy seemed happy. Highly recommend.

Rachael was great with Lily, always giving us updates and sending photos. I would recommend and have her watch Lily again.

Racheal came through last minute, and she was super communicative. I felt so safe having Kugel with her!

Racheal is as good as they get. I have a 5 year old border collie who is full of energy and very loyal/velcro like eith me, I was nervous leaving him with a sitter for the first time. Not only did Racheal calm my nerves with daily updates and pictures, but by the time I picked him up I genuinely don't know where he preferred to stay. 10/10, would recommend Racheal to anyone looking for a sitter.
