Hello, welcome, and thank you for stopping by! I have a masters degree in secondary education and a BFA in history, both from PSU. I am currently pursuing a special education teaching certificate. I have walked, and house sat for friends' and neighbors' dogs, cats, and birds since 2014. I have experience training puppies as well as caring for and walking younger dogs, special needs dogs, and both senior dogs and cats who required medication. Currently I have a black kitty who is leash trained and knows basic commands i.e sit, paw, down, and up. I also have 2 dogs whom are excellent with commands and very well mannered. In addition to the black kitty, we have 2 other very social cats. I have also trained and taken care of parakeets and lovebirds for the past 18 years. I am able to watch, feed, finger train and socialize your feathery friends if needed! Please let me know if your feathery friends need someone to watch them. (For an added discussed fee).

Because of my teaching background, I use some teaching methods I have picked up in the classroom to care for animals. Whether it's teaching with positive reinforcement, or calming down an excited/scared animal; be rest assured that your animal will have a blast being in my care. Rachael is great with Piper. Piper loves to see her. She is conscientious and is always on-time as per agreed upon schedule.
Rachael was a wonderful sitter for our two doxens. She handled our little diva doxen with no issues. This was our first time using Rover and I couldn't be happier. She came on time, spent quality time with our dogs and sent photos from each visit. She was also a great communicator. Definitely recommend.

Schedule
Working as a student and substitute teacher allows me to have an open and flexible schedule; therefore I have plenty of flexibility to accomodate yours. I am able to work with you so that I may assist your fur babies or feathery friends :)
