Love & Walks Guaranteed

Hi, I’m Rachael – Your Pet’s New Best Friend! As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet care provider, I bring over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and a wide variety of animals — from hamsters to chickens. As a retired collegiate athlete, staying active is second nature to me — and I’ve found that dogs make the best workout buddies! Whether it’s a walk, run, or hike, I’m always up for an adventure with a furry friend (I’m convinced their endless energy is the secret to staying young). I currently have six beloved cats of my own and truly treat every pet I care for as if they were part of my own fur family. My approach is always compassionate, responsible, and tailored to your pet’s needs and routines. Here’s what I bring to the table: 1. Specialized Care – Experienced with special needs, senior, and sick pets. Trained in dog CPR and comfortable administering oral/rectal medication. 2. Training Experience – I’ve trained both puppies and kittens (yes, my cats can sit, give paw, and fetch!). 3. Strength & Confidence – I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from tiny wiener dogs to strong, energetic breeds like Great Danes, Pit Bulls, and Mastiffs. With my athletic background and strength, you won’t have to worry about your dog pulling me down the street! 4. Professionalism & Trust – I’ve provided in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and boarding services for over a decade. Whether it’s a quick visit or an extended stay, your pet will be in safe, loving hands. When your pet is with me, you can expect: • Personalized care based on their daily routine • A calm and comfortable environment • Frequent updates with photos • Reliable and open communication • Plenty of outdoor time — rain or shine! I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family. Let’s chat about how I can help keep your pet happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away!

Safety, trust & environment

With over 14 years of professional pet sitting experience, I understand how important it is for your pets to feel safe and secure in their own environment. When caring for animals in clients’ homes, I prioritize maintaining your pet’s normal routine — from feeding schedules and daily walks to playtime and cuddle sessions. I’m trained in dog CPR, experienced with administering medication, and comfortable caring for pets with special needs, seniors, and high-energy breeds alike. You can count on me to treat your home with the utmost respect and your pets with the same love and attentiveness I give my own. I’m highly communicative, reliable, and always provide updates with photos, so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

Rachel was great at what she did for us and our two dogs while we were away. She demonstrated real caring and she went above and beyond with a lot of little things, like sending photos of our canines enjoying her company. Top grades all around.

Rachael did a great job taking care of our 2 cats this weekend. She communicated daily and gave them their supplements and food. We will be booking with her again!

Rachel was incredible. We needed her last minute and not only was she available she took the time to get to know our cats and took care of them like they were her own. My wife is very picky about who takes care of our fur babies and Rachel was too notch.

Rachel was absolutely fantastic!! She made me feel comfortable having her house sit with Tessa- she took pictures and spent time doing the things Tessa loves doing. I could not have asked for a better experience. I am truly grateful for Rachel and know who were reaching out to again if we go on any trips.

Schedule

As someone who works remotely with a highly flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate focused, consistent attention to the pets in my care. I work from my computer and can set my own hours, which means I’m available for walks, feedings, playtime, and any special needs throughout the day — not just during early mornings or evenings. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, my ability to work from anywhere with Wi-Fi allows me to stay close, remain responsive, and ensure your pets feel attended to and relaxed. This flexibility allows me to provide dependable, hands-on care without ever having to rush or cut corners.

To provide the best possible care, I like to learn as much as I can about your pet’s personality, preferences, and routine. Here are a few key things that help me tailor my care to their needs: • Daily Routine – Feeding times, walk schedules, sleeping habits, and any rituals they’re used to • Behavior & Temperament – How they interact with people, other animals, and new environments • Health Information – Any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or past injuries • Training & Commands – Cues they know, behaviors you’re working on, or any quirks I should be aware of • Comfort Items – Favorite toys, treats, or anything that helps them feel at ease • Emergency Contacts – Your vet’s info and any backup contact, just in case The more I know, the better I can ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
