Safety, trust & environment

Hi, I’m Rachael, a passionate and experienced pet care provider with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve been caring for pets since childhood, hold qualifications in animal care, and have worked in a pet shop, giving me a deep understanding of pet needs. I also spend a lot of time training my own dog, so I’m skilled in handling pets with care and patience. I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a happy environment for every pet. Whether it’s walking, sitting, or playtime, your furry friend will be in safe and loving hands!

Information Rachael W. would like to know about your pet

There behaviour on and off lead, i have experience in lead reactive dogs so please tell me if that is the case i will still take them on. If they are elderly and need slower walks, and how good they recall is.

A typical day

Long outdoors walk at your dogs paced, giving them time to sniff around and mentally stimulate them. Practice of simple commands and recall, and of course lots of love and cuddles.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Rachael — a Zoology student with a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, from dogs and rabbits to birds and exotic animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I always aim to provide patient, loving, and reliable care tailored to them individually. I have previous experience in animal care and pet retail, including advising owners on nutrition, enrichment, and general wellbeing. I also have particular experience with birds and small animals, as I own and care for them myself and understand how important routine, trust, and gentle handling are for more sensitive pets. Whether your pet is energetic, nervous, elderly, or just needs extra reassurance, I adapt my care to help them feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. For dog walks, I typically follow safe local walking routes and keep dogs on lead unless instructed otherwise. During drop-in visits, I can feed pets, refresh water, provide enrichment and attention, let dogs out for toilet breaks, clean up if needed, and make sure they are settled before leaving. I know how difficult it can be trusting someone else with your pets because they truly are family members. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident while in my care. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.
