Home worker, experienced & genuine dog lover! ❤️

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Rachael a 28-year-old dog enthusiast located in Wellington, Shropshire. By day, I work remotely from home as Team Lead/ Events Manager but my true passion lies in providing top notch pet care for dogs 🥰 I moved to Wellington in February 2020 with my husband Dan and our 4 year old border collie, Ralph. Our collie Ralph has really helped our past furry visitors settle into their new environment; he has helped them adjust to their new surroundings and provided them with company so they feel more settled. All pets in our home, will be cared for in the same way that we care for our own dog Ralph, they will become part of the family during their stay with us! There will have lots of opportunities for cuddles and playtime and we make sure to listen to any instructions you provide. We do ask for a meet & greet before accepting any new bookings just to ensure that all dogs are happy and get along. We are open to all dogs big or small, but sadly do not accept any dogs that are not neutered or any females that are in heat. We are also fully insured with Protectivity. Follow our Instagram page for updates on your dogs holiday so you can check on your dog in your own time :) @rachael.shropshiredogboarding

What a fantastic stay Lottie had, she really did not want to come home. Lots of walks & even more play time. Thank you so much Rachael & Ralph.

We contacted Rachael after trial visit in kennels left our dog very anxious. She met us in the park for chat with her dog Ralph. Rachael was warm, friendly and our dog instantly warmed up to her. It was lovely to see Milo all settled in the new surroundings and Ralph was so calm too. It was great to enjoy our family trip and knowing Milo would cared for. I would recommend Rachael to all my friends and would be very happy to leave our doggy with her again.

This was the first time leaving our beloved boy with a stranger but we couldn’t have asked for a better experience 😊 Rachel was so warm, welcoming and immediately made us feel at ease. She has a beautiful home and her gorgeous dog Ralph was super friendly. She updated us regularly with photos and videos of him enjoying lots of lovely walks. We’ll definitely be using her services again. Thanks again Rachel, Brockie had a lovely holiday ❤️

Information Rachael T. would like to know about your pet

Please note as we have our own dog we must set up a meet & greet in advance to ensure the compatibility of both dogs, for this reason we sadly cannot take last minute requests that do not allow time for this. To ensure your dog is safe and can have the best time with us, we need to know the following: - any health issues/allergies - whether your dog is crate trained - what their recall is like (we’re happy to keep your dogs on the lead at all times if you prefer) - what your dog is like with other animals/people - whether they are happy to be left for short periods of time in the house - what they’re like during the night - any behavioural issues to be aware of

A typical day

We usually start with a morning walk through the fields or go to Bowing Park (both approx 5 mins walk away) and repeat again at lunchtime! During lighter evenings and at the weekends we like to go a little further afield and do longer walks at the Wrekin, Haughmond Hill or Carding Mill Valley!
