Home from home environment!

What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my genuine passion for animals, combined with extensive hands-on experience and professional training. I hold a Level 2 Canine First Aid certification, ensuring I can act quickly and confidently in the event of any emergency. With years of experience walking and caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—including reactive or nervous dogs—I provide a calm, reliable, and reassuring presence. I take the time to get to know each dog individually, building trust and tailoring every walk or visit to suit their specific needs. Whether it's a high-energy adventure or a gentle stroll, your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being always come first. You can trust that your furry friend is not only in capable hands, but also with someone who treats them like family.

Rachael was brilliant with our dog. He stayed with her for four days and we received lots of pictures and updates. Would happily use her again!

I can’t recommend Rachel highly enough! She’s looked after my little spaniel overnight several times now, and every time we get her back she is incredibly happy, calm, and tired out dog. It’s clear how naturally gifted Rachel is with animals and how much she cares for dogs— our girl adores her and is always excited to see her again! Rachel is super reliable and so accommodating. She’s attentive, responsible, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. I always have total peace of mind knowing our dog is in her hands. It’s not just a person looking after a dog because it’s their job — it’s genuine care, affection, and a real bond that she’s created with our crazy girl. Now that she’s starting her own business, I’m so excited for others to experience the same amazing level of care. If you want someone who truly treats your pet like family, look no further!

Schedule

I currently work part-time at a licensed dog boarding facility, which allows me to offer great flexibility around my existing commitments. My previous career as serving police officer should you give you the extra reassurance you need with an up to date DBS! I’m available from early mornings through to late evenings, including weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate a wide range of schedules. Whether you need regular walks, occasional help, or last-minute support, I can adapt to suit your needs. My experience at the boarding facility has strengthened my skills in handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and I bring that same level of care, reliability, and passion to every dog I look after.

Safety, trust & environment

I currently live in a ground floor flat with a communal garden. I am happy to have dogs through the day and over night. I promise to offer them the same love, attention, and care they’d receive from their own family. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring complete peace of mind while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me is all about fun, comfort, and keeping tails wagging! We start the day with a good morning stretch and a refreshing walk—whether it’s a peaceful stroll through the woods, a sniff-filled adventure in the local park, or a longer countryside ramble for those with extra energy. After that, it’s time for a water break, belly rubs, and maybe a little enrichment time with puzzle toys or some gentle training games to keep their minds active. The rest of the day is tailored to each dog’s needs—some enjoy playtime, others love a cuddle and a nap in a cozy spot. There’s always plenty of attention, reassurance, and a calm, loving atmosphere. For dogs staying overnight, they’ll enjoy a relaxing evening walk, dinner, and a quiet wind-down before bedtime. Every moment is designed to make your dog feel safe, happy, and loved—just like they would at home.
