Hello! We’re a dog-loving family offering a warm, caring home-from-home boarding service for dogs. I am fully DBS checked and fully insured. I hold a diploma in dog walking and pet sitting. And am certified in Pet first aid. Although I’m new to offering dog boarding professionally, dogs have been a huge part of my life for the past 24 years, and I currently have two much-loved Cocker Spaniels of my own. I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I understand just how important it is to know that your dog is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. My aim is simple: to make your dog feel like part of our family while they’re staying with us. 🐶 I have two teenage boys who absolutely adore dogs, so your furry friend will have plenty of love, attention and company during their stay. My husband works mostly from home, and I will be home throughout their stay. This allows me to offer plenty of companionship and a relaxed family environment rather than your dog being left alone for long periods. Rachel is lovely and my two dogs had the best time with her the other day I’m pretty sure one of them didn’t even want to come home she had such a good time, they got along really well Rachel’s own dogs too who are both great.
Rachael is such a lovely dog sitter, our two dogs felt at home straight away, she is a natural with them. As soon as I got to Rachael's house I felt immediately at ease about leaving them, it's very warm and welcoming. The dogs absolutely love her! It is completely safe with a big secure garden for them to run around in. Our dogs had so much fun I don't think they wanted to leave! Would a million percent recommend this caregiver, they were so well cared for and looked after. Rachael will be my go to dog sitter now, and our two fur babies can't wait for their next visit :)
Racheal at Tember Paws provided exceptional care for my two dogs during their day stay. They have never been comfortable in traditional kennels, so this was our first experience with home boarding — and it truly felt like a home‑from‑home environment. Throughout the day, Racheal offered them genuine care, attention, and affection. I even received photo updates, which gave me complete peace of mind and showed just how relaxed and happy they were in her care. Although Tember Paws is a newly established family business, the quality of care speaks for itself. I have full confidence in Racheal and have already booked my dogs in again for December while we are on holiday. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and attentive place for their pets.

Schedule
We are a family of four with two much-loved dogs of our own, so your dog will be joining a genuine dog-loving family and will have plenty of company throughout their stay. I work school hours, my husband works from home. Dogs staying with us will have morning and evening walks, as well as regular opportunities to go outside for toilet breaks and some fresh air throughout the day. Your dog will be treated as one of the family and will be welcome throughout all areas of our home, rather than being restricted to one room. We want them to feel relaxed, comfortable and at home while they are with us. With our two dogs for company and our family around them, we aim to provide a calm, loving and welcoming home-from-home environment where your dog can enjoy plenty of attention, affection and companionship. 🐾❤️

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be welcomed into our family home and will have the company of our two friendly dogs throughout their stay. We have a large, securely fenced garden which they will have access to throughout the day for regular toilet breaks, fresh air and playtime. We want every dog to feel comfortable and at home, so they will be welcome throughout our home and can choose their own comfy spot to sleep. If your dog is crate trained or prefers to sleep in a crate, we are also very happy to accommodate this. We will always follow your dog’s usual routine and take their individual needs, personality and preferences into consideration to help them feel safe, settled and happy during their stay. 🐾❤️
Pets
A typical day
We are a family of dog lovers so your pooch will have lots of attention and cuddles throughout their stay. They will enjoy play time with our 2 spaniels and will be walked everyday. This will vary between a field walk for a fun game of fetch or a long walk with lots of sniffing around the farmers fields or exploring the local woods. They will spend evenings snuggled on the sofa with us for lots of pets and belly rubs.

- We are happy to adjust to your dogs needs, so if it’s a shorter walk because they love to chill or longer walks to burn off lots of energy we will do our best to ensure they have a great stay with us.
