I mostly work remotely throughout the day. I may pop out for an errand, the gym, or dinner with friends, but otherwise have a flexible schedule and am able to be at home (or yours) most of the day.

For larger breeds or more than 1 dog I am only able to accommodate sitting at the owner’s house due to my home being a bit more on the smaller side. For small breeds I currently live in a single-story house (no stairs) with an unfenced front yard on a relatively quiet street with a small community park at the end.

A typical day
I have experience with large and high-energy dogs (had a Border Collie and often dogsit for a young Husky) so happy to take long walks, go to the dog park (if you’re comfortable) or even be my Greenlake running buddy. For cats and more indoor-loving dogs, happy to play inside or be mellow and cuddle.

Pet care experience
Dog owner since I was 8, cat owner from age 12. Until just recently had both in my life (my dog Luna has since passed, but can’t bring myself to remove her profile just yet), and both cats and dogs bring me so much joy. Moved back to Seattle after grad school and not yet ready to commit to another furbaby of my own, so looking to fill my spare time caring and loving for yours!
Reviews

Rachael has watched our border collie twice now, and we highly recommend her! She takes great care of our pup, taking her to different parks and areas around town. She’s very communicative and sends lots of adorable pictures where our dog looks so happy and well socialized while we’re away. Rachael has also always left our house very clean. It’s so nice being able to leave town knowing our dog is in good hands!

Rachael is a fantastic sitter and took wonderful care of our two dogs when we were away for a week. She's a great communicator and we always knew our pups were in good hands. We'll definitely reach out to her again.

Rachael was such a fabulous pick for us as first time Rover users! We felt comfortable leaving our geriatric chihuahua and younger, rambunctious brother so we could relax across the country. Pix super reassuring, house was immaculate when we returned, and just the right amount of communication.

This was Rachael’s second time watching our dogs. She is responsive and sends great photos of their walks and time at home. They both seemed happy and comfortable while we were away! One of our dogs can be anxious about our travel so we’re always pleased to see him so comfortable at home. I work for Rover.
