I work full-time but I would be able to check on and care for your pets before 8am and after 4pm. I am also available for the whole weekend and summer break July and August.

If your dog has any reactivity triggers or issues, please let me know. I do have experience with this through my own dog but would like to be aware so we can avoid those things on walks.
A typical day
I have lots of ideas or happy to follow your dog’s favourite activities and routines! Scent games, puzzles, long walks, fetch, belly rubs (if they like this!), training routines, hiking, frozen treats, chews and lick mats for calming down

Pet care experience
I have a large mix breed rescue pup who we have developed lots of skills and knowledge from through his care and training. He is now 1.5 years old and I would love to apply these skills to caring for your pets whilst you’re away! I know how important and sometimes difficult it is to find the right person to look after your dog or cat in your absence. There is also the potential for finding a dog friend for our own pup so that we could have a mutual pet sitting relationship ☺️ Growing up, we had a family cat who was a member of the family and lived until 20 years old. As an adult, I have looked after and cared for many of my housemates pets including their cats and several dogs. I love animals and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to spend time with your beloved pets while you’re away.

Rachael has proven herself to be a dedicated and patient pet parent who adopted her own dog earlier this year. She has spent so much time training and helping to build a happy home for him. I’ve no doubt that she would take care of any animal with the same care and love as her own!
