I work from home Monday to Friday, with flexible hours - I typically work 8-4 with an hour long lunch break but can start earlier or later as needed. I play with the dogs throughout the day if at my house and take for a long walk at lunch/after work. I’m available all weekend.

I have a fenced in garden with locked gate, so any dog is free to roam / play outside safely. I live across from several fields commonly used by dog walkers so there is plenty of room for walks and running around! My house is pet friendly with carpeted and tiled areas and no where is out of bounds - my house is their house :) I live with my partner, so please note in case your dog has issues with men.

Any special needs / requirements - no matter how small please mention to me if I can make your dog more comfortable. E.g. if shy or doesn’t like to interact with other dogs - this will let me choose an appropriate walk, and avoid pets we come across ! Please write down any medication they take & timings so it is clear and let me know any commands that you tend to use.

There is always a lot of walks & playing involved - there are several fields nearby my house where I take dogs to play and run, and an unfenced dog park. I enjoy taking dogs along Beverley beck as there are often other dogs to encounter and is an enjoyable safe walk (with plenty of ducks to see)! I have far too many toys for dogs to play with inc interactive toys and a paddling pool for when it’s hot outside ! They would typically come hang out with me in the office (aka fall asleep on the sofa or sit on my knee for those career driven) with constant breaks for attention or playing!

Licensed dog boarder : AA6 2625-08 Currently not taking bookings for 2026. I’ve taken care of dogs for ~6 years now and have dog sat for up to 3 weeks at a time, which made saying goodbye even harder (Can say I've fallen in love with each dog thats come to stay) and looked after several older dogs. I WFH so am always around, and always have a mid-day walk / nap / cuddle session (plus cuddles through the day of course). I have a large enclosed garden, with a dog park about 5 minutes away dependant on how active or social your dog is feeling. Happy to take them to a secure dog field if thats whats needed! I stick to your standard routine as much as possible, and have always said that my home is the dogs home - they can go on the furniture or bed if that is what they're used to!

Rachael was amazing with Luna. She kept me updated with what they got up to and lots of photos. Luna loved her time away and was very happy. It meant I wasn't worried about her whilst being away. Would recommend Rachael to everyone.
Rachael’s home is such a warm and welcoming home away from home for our dog! Cece thoroughly enjoyed her time spent with Rachael and Graham! She was well taken care of and loved. We’d recommend their pet hospitality to everyone! And we will book again!
Maximus had a great day with Rachael, and he was brilliant with him. Even taking extra care as Max recently had a operation and she was very accommodating to his needs while still making sure he had a great day!
