I’ve grown up with big dogs my whole life, particularly Rottweilers, and recently rescued a lab mix stray from Puerto Rico named Indie. There truly is nothing like the unconditional love and loyalty that dogs offer, and I’m passionate about giving them the care they deserve. I understand the importance of providing plenty of playtime, exercise, mental enrichment, and lots of love to keep dogs happy and healthy. I’m experienced with maintaining any training routines in progress to ensure your pup stays on track with their development. I’m very comfortable with big dogs, and my playful pup Indie absolutely loves the company of other dogs. I can provide supervised playtime in my spacious, shaded backyard or they can relax inside the house. I have baby gates available to separate dogs if needed, and my house cat is dog-friendly (though I can keep them separated if your dog prefers). I’m also comfortable administering any medications as needed. I’m passionate about all animals and sometimes joke that I’m like Snow White because I love being surrounded by them - animals seem to sense my calm, relaxed presence and feel comfortable around me. Beyond caring for my own pets, I grew up puppy sitting for neighbors and have provided cat sitting services for friends, so I understand how to adapt to each pet’s unique needs and personality.

Rachel has been great and very happy to have found her! She has a very spacious and well maintained yard which was a must for me since I have a large dog and we live in an apartment. Her doggie and mine get along great so they are always playing and chasing eachother in her backyard. Very quick response time. Will definitely be returning for our weekly day-care. 🙂
Rachael has a lifelong passion for animals—whether it’s a starfish, cat, dog, or horse. From an early age, she grew up caring for family pets, including dogs, cats, and rabbits, and later learned how to properly care for horses. From marine life to land animals, her childhood fascination—fueled by countless trips to the zoo and Sea World—reveals just how deeply her love for animals is woven into who she is. As an adult, Rachael has continued that devotion by adopting cats and a dog from rescue centers, providing each with a safe, enriched, and loving home. She has a natural gentleness with animals, enjoys engaging and playing with them, and also understands the importance of setting healthy boundaries. When you entrust your pet to Rachael, you can have complete peace of mind knowing she will treat them with the same care, respect, and affection she gives her own.
Rachael is an incredible pet sitter. Our kitties adore her and she took care of them with so much thoughtfulness and love. Usually I am nervous leaving them but with Rachael I was not the least bit worried. She is also a great communicator and all around lovely person. Highly recommended!

Schedule
I work full-time from home, which means I’m super flexible and able to provide your fur baby with full-time supervision and care. This schedule allows me complete flexibility for walks, playtime, and meeting your pet’s individual needs throughout the day. Your pet will never be left alone for extended periods and will receive constant attention and companionship while in my care.

Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I have a fully fenced, shaded backyard where dogs can play and exercise securely. For indoor care, I have a dedicated office area that can be gated off from the rest of the house, providing a safe, smaller space when needed. My friendly dog Indie is here to provide companionship and entertainment for your fur baby, ensuring they never feel lonely. Indie is neutered and fully up to date on all vaccinations, as well as current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, so you can feel confident about safe socialization. This secure environment gives both you and your pet peace of mind during their stay. My cat Zorro is also up to date with all vaccinations and preventative medicine.
