Hi! We’re Rachael (🇺🇸) and Alex (🇬🇧), two animal lovers who will go above and beyond for your pets and treat them as our own while they’re under our care. Expect lots of pics and vids while you’re away. 🥰 ⚠️ Please note: We are currently living with family, including a 6-year-old mixed breed dog who is mostly friendly/quite indifferent with other dogs and a very independent calico cat who spends most of her time outside. If interested in Doggy Day Care, we don’t expect they would cause any issues with most other *friendly* pets. See their profiles for more info! We have experience with all sizes of dogs as well as seniors. We’re friendly, responsible, and responsive, and we look forward to meeting, walking, and hosting your pets. 🐕🐈

Ultimately, we’ll flex to your pet’s unique needs — if they need lots of love, want some space or alone time, or have a special quirk (faucet drinking, mealtime rituals), we’re on it. We always default to a pet parents’ instructions for their pet and home care, and we read body language carefully.

Rachael and Alexander are fantastic! They took such great care of my dog, coming by twice a day to make sure she got plenty of exercise, treats, fresh water, and lots of love. It’s clear they genuinely love animals, and their communication was so thoughtful and consistent, which made it incredibly easy to relax while I was away. I’m so grateful for how well they cared for her and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for wonderful, trustworthy pet care!
Rachael and Alex were amazing with Cece! They took her for a run, walk and swimming! Cece is such a high energy dog and she definitely loved her time with them and the constant activities.
Rachael and Alexander took great care of our dog, with five home drop-offs and walks that went above and beyond what we hoped for. They were always punctual and kept us updated. Our energetic dog got plenty of exercise, good meals, and lots of cuddles. We’re grateful to Rachael and Alexander and highly recommend them.

Alex and Rachael were a pleasure to work with. We are from NJ and had to go to Lake Placid for a wedding. We were stressed about who would take care of our 5 month old cattle dog mix (high energy) while we were at wedding festivities. They worked out a schedule with us and were easy to work with, reliable, and the dog was happy to go with them. We got pictures and updates regularly and I’m so glad we found them! I highly recommend them to anyone needing dog care while in the Lake Placid area. Too bad they live so far from our regular home! It’s hard to find such great dog care!
They were wonderful and great with our nervous fur baby.We will definitely be back!

Schedule
We have a lot of flexibility in our daily and weekly schedules, but it’s always helpful to have as much advance notice as possible with Rover bookings. With home-stays or house-sitting, we build our days around walks and shorter trips outside.
