Pet care experience

♥️ Safe & Cozy home, Fenced yard ♥️

I've cared for dogs since I was 9 and have worked at a vet clinic and a dog daycare. Dogs have truly changed my life, and I know firsthand how important it is to trust someone with your companion. We have a dog-friendly home with a fully fenced yard, perfect for playtime and fresh air! I currently work 100% remote and spend my time at home, so your pup will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. My Dachshund Arthur loves meeting new friends, and I always make sure each dog feels comfortable, safe, and loved in our care. I understand how tough it can be to be away from your pet, so we prioritize communication during every stay. You can expect daily updates with pictures, videos, and messages so you know your pup is happy.

⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Care and Peace of Mind!⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I cannot recommend Quinten enough! We needed to find a sitter who was available to care for our dogs while we were away for our wedding. This was our very first time boarding them, let alone for five consecutive days—so when we first brought them to his place for a meet-and-greet, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect. Quinten’s environment was exactly what we needed. Our boys weren't reactive at all around Quinten or the dogs. Quinten has a very calm demeanor, and his background in doggy daycare and veterinary care shines through immediately, showing a true, deep love for dogs. We instantly felt so comfortable that we knew right away we needed to book with him, completely skipping the need to meet with any other sitters. He sent us tons of adorable photo and video updates throughout the week, which we absolutely loved and appreciated. It completely took the stress out of being away from them. Quinten often watches 10+ dogs at a time, which turned out to be an amazing opportunity for our boys. Because they hadn't had many opportunities to bond with other dogs before this, being part of his "pack" provided them with a safe environment to socialize and learn pack dynamics. All the dogs Quinten watches are smaller breeds, which gave us an extra layer of comfort. Our dog, Milo, has joint issues, and we use stairs throughout the home to prevent jumping off the furniture. We felt reassured that Quinten already had his home perfectly set up safely for his dauchsund and other small pups just like ours. We felt right at home the second we walked through the door. Quinten is incredibly personable, a genuinely nice guy, and works from home, so he’s able to give the dogs alot of attention. Plus, on the rare occasion he isn't home, his wife is available to watch and care for them. His rates are fair and reasonable, which we especially appreciated since we were booking for two dogs. We are so glad we found Quinten. Milo and Loki came home happy, relaxed, and well-adjusted. When we take our honeymoon in October, we will definitely reach out to him again to care for them while we are out of the country. Thank you so much again Quinten for caring for our furbabies!! You are the best!!! 🥰🙏🐾

My dog can be hard to deal with but Quentin seemed to have the skills and patience to take great care of him. I really appreciated the updates and videos I received as an anxious person. Will definitely book again if he will have Pedro!

My dog seemed happy staying with Quinten and his other pup visitors. My dog is pretty mellow and low keyed and it seemed like he was able to hang out at his own pace and wasn’t overwhelmed. Quinten was communicative and welcoming, I would book with him again.

Schedule

Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. Since I work 100% remotely, I’m home throughout the day to provide constant care, attention, and companionship. My day usually starts with morning potty breaks and breakfast for your pup! Often times I will also have the dogs gardening outside with me, where they get in a lot of sniffs and lounge in the sun (When we have sun). Weekends are spent at home or going to a park.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play and potty breaks, and ramps leading onto our couch and bed to make it easy on pups with sensitive joints or long backs, especially important for breeds like Dachshunds. If you'd prefer your dog avoid the ramps or couches, I’m happy to adjust and block off access as needed or stick to picking them up. I also keep the stairs gated to prevent unnecessary strain or accidents. Every dog is different, so I’m more than happy to tailor the setup to match your pup’s specific needs and routines.

Pets

A typical day

Dogs in my care enjoy lounging by my side while I work or relax in the living room. On nice days, they join me in the yard while I garden, always under supervision. I also take regular trips to Kiwanis Park for walks and fresh air, perfect for pups who love a little adventure.

It’s important for me to know your dog’s routine, temperament, energy level, and any medical or behavioral needs ahead of time. Let me know if they have triggers, special care instructions, or if they’re working on training. The more I know, the better I can make them feel safe, happy, and at home!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
