Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine as a consistent and grounding responsibility. As a full time college student and athlete, my schedule is packed with classes, training, and studying, so I thrive on structure. Taking care of pets gives me a reason to pause and reset. Whether it’s feeding, walks, or just spending a few quiet minutes together, it adds purpose and balance to my day. I actually appreciate that it forces me to be organized and stay on a routine even when things get hectic.

This includes sticking to feeding times, walks, play, and giving them attention and affection. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and treat their space with respect. I understand how important trust is when it comes to someone’s pet, so I make sure their animal gets the same level of care and attention I’d give my own.

I always like to know their daily routine, any medical needs, feeding schedule, and how they typically behave around people and other animals. It’s also helpful to know what they enjoy or dislike such as certain toys, noises, or situations that might stress them out. Understanding their temperament, energy level, and any training commands they know makes it easier to keep them happy and safe while their owner is away.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I make sure they have a great time and feel comfortable! For dogs, I like to go on walks or jogs, play fetch, tug o' war, or even teach them a new trick with some treats. If the dog enjoys being out and about, I’ll take them on a longer walk around the neighborhood or to a pet friendly area where they can safely explore new sights and smells. No matter the pet, I always focus on keeping them active, mentally stimulated, and cared for so they feel loved and happy while their owner is away!

Quinn did a fantastic job caring for our 3 dogs and home while we were on a multiple day trip. Great communication and sent us some pictures of them while we were gone. Will definitely be booking with her again for our next trip!
Could not have asked for a better dog sitter! I got constant updates and pictures which I always love! She was quick at responding when I messaged her. And she left my house somehow cleaner than I left it, including going the extra mile and washing the sheets/towels she used while she was here. Will absolutely be rebooking with Quinn <3
