I have been around dogs my entire life and have spent the past 10+ years actively caring for dogs in both personal and shared care settings. I raised my own dog from 6 weeks old to end of life at 14, so I understand the full arc of a dog’s needs from puppy energy and training to senior care and comfort. I am highly attuned to each dog’s individual personality, routines, and stress signals, and I aim to provide care that is both enriching and calming. I have experience with positive reinforcement training, administering medication, and supporting dogs with a range of physical and emotional needs. I also have experience caring for cats and am comfortable providing attentive, respectful care that matches each animal’s temperament and needs. Whether it is long walks, structured play, enrichment activities, or quiet companionship, I prioritize making animals feel safe, understood, and well cared for while their humans are away.

I honestly cannot recommend Quinn enough. We are quite picky about who we trust to stay in our home and look after our dogs, so we honestly weren’t sure if we would ever find someone we felt completely comfortable leaving them with. Quinn completely blew us away. This was the first time we’ve ever left our dogs with someone and felt like we could actually relax and not worry about how our babies were doing. We received so many updates and photos throughout the few days, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel completely reassured that our dogs were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Quinn stayed at our house and took such amazing care of both our dogs. When we got home, our dogs were so excited to see us, and it was obvious they had been incredibly happy and well cared for while we were away. Quinn also went above and beyond by cleaning our entire house before we got home, which was such an incredibly thoughtful and unexpected bonus. Quinn was trustworthy, attentive, communicative, and clearly genuinely loves dogs. We came home to two very happy pups and a spotless house, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We seriously cannot recommend Quinn enough and would absolutely have Quinn stay with our dogs again. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your pets, Quinn is the person you want!
Quinn is the best dog sitter you could ask for. They are friendly, attentive and my dog LOVES them. I strongly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to walk or care for their fur babies.
Quinn is very professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. They are an engaged and calming presence for my pet, and an excellent communicator who asked good questions. They followed my care instructions exactly, including administering medicine to a difficult patient.
I’m so grateful that I can leave town and my cat is so well taken care of. Quinn has sent me updates and photos that have been a comfort when I’m away from home. I care for pets by prioritizing safety, routine, and emotional comfort in whatever environment I am working in. In a client’s home, I aim to maintain the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routes, medication needs, and house rules. I pay close attention to each animal’s body language and stress levels so I can respond appropriately and keep them feeling secure. I also make sure the home is left clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. If caring for pets in my own space, I provide a calm, low-stress environment with consistent supervision and structured routines. I ensure pets are gradually introduced to any new environment factors and always prioritize compatibility and safety between animals if more than one is present. Across all settings, I use positive reinforcement, avoid overwhelming stimulation, and focus on building trust through consistency, respect, and attentive care.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the pet’s routine and energy level, but I always aim to keep things consistent, calm, and engaging. In the morning, I start with a walk or litter box check followed by feeding based on the pet’s usual schedule. For dogs, this often includes a structured walk that allows time for exercise, sniffing, and decompression rather than just quick bathroom breaks. For cats, I focus on feeding, fresh water, litter maintenance, and gentle check-ins depending on their comfort level with interaction. Midday includes another walk or play session for dogs, adjusted based on their age and needs. This might include enrichment activities like sniff games, training reinforcement using positive reinforcement, or calm companionship time. For cats, I usually do a check-in visit if needed, with play, feeding, and maintaining a clean environment. In the evening, I repeat feeding and walking routines and make sure the pet is settled comfortably for the night. I pay attention to their stress levels throughout the day and adjust activity so they feel safe, regulated, and cared for. Throughout the day, I also provide updates to the owner when requested and make sure the home or environment is kept clean, secure, and respectful of their space.
