Availability
With both our schedules, at least one of us will be home to care for your fur babies. Quanece works full time from home, and Malik works along the New Jersey Public School schedule: 8am-4pm. House Sitting - (Owners have to be ok with both of us being present in the home)- May require an additional fee for homes outside a five mile radius.

Our mission is to provide a space where your pups can live comfortably while their parents are away on vacation worry- free. Your four legged companions enter as guests and leave as members of our family. Our home is their home! All of our clients receive filtered water, treats (only ones that the owner approve), and they are allowed on all furniture. At the owner's discretion, we can crate, but we do not have a create available. In client's home, we keep journals, so we will have an in depth discussion with our clients to ensure that we follow all rules and respect the home. We will send continual updates and pictures of your pup. Plus, if we stay overnight, we are strict on leaving a home neat, so we are more than happy to tidy up before we leave.

A meet and greet is mandatory. During this time, we will have an in depth discussion about your pup, including but not limited to, medical history, behaviors, and potty/ feeding routine to see if we are a great fit for each other. Also, you are important! You are trusting us with your furbabies, so we want to ensure you are comfortable with where you are leaving your family. If your fur baby requires an additional meet and greet due to signs of aggression, there will be a $25 fee per 30 mins. This is for the safety of our clients, as well as us.
A typical day
With our proximity to Wissahickon, Pirates of Francisville Dog Park, and Fairmount Park we curate engaging outdoor adventures for your dogs, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and socialization. If your fur friend is non-friendly (human and/or dogs) we will not visit dog parks or any other areas sparking socialization out of the safety of your dog and others.

About Quanece: I participated in "A Tail to Tell" program, assisting with the socialization of puppies rescued from puppy mills. I collaborated with veterinarians to administer vaccines and provide food to underprivileged dog families. My commitment extended to volunteering at animal shelters, where I dedicated time to tasks like dog walking and cat socialization. During my college years, I worked with nine Capuchin monkeys, where I handled both husbandry and enrichment activities.These experiences have not only shaped my passion for animal care but also fueled my excitement for the opening of Q and Leek’s Doggy Retreat, where I look forward to extending my expertise to provide a nurturing and enjoyable environment for your furry friends. About Malik: In the Greater Newark, NJ area, I've dedicated my time to volunteering at various dog shelters, actively engaging with paw buddies through walks and ensuring the cleanliness of kennels. Throughout my college years in the Glassboro area, I expanded my commitment by offering dog walking and house-sitting services for local families. Adding to my passion, I fostered two American Pitbull strays from 2019 to 2021, providing them with a loving home and nurturing environment. As my love for dogs continues to flourish daily, I am thrilled and excited to extend a warm welcome to you and your paw friends, inviting them into our home for a delightful and caring stay. * We do offer pick up and drop off services *

Our dog was sick while we were away and they were very helpful during the process and communicated well
Did an amazing job with my dog and cat during the 2-week long overnight stay at my place. They gave lots of updates and photos which helped me feel more at ease leaving my pets. They also cleaned up after themselves when they were done, which was really appreciated after getting back from a long trip! Absolutely would recommend them!
