My own dog was adopted at 1 year old and came with a lot of anxiety — he was nervous, easily startled, and afraid of children. With long-term training, consistency, and a lot of love, he has transformed into a calm, happy, confident boy. Because of this journey, I understand anxious dogs deeply: their triggers, their body language, their need for slow introductions, and how important gentle structure is for them to feel safe. Living with him (and two cats!) has taught me patience and how to keep a peaceful, multi-pet household where every animal has their own space and comfort. I’m very comfortable helping dogs who are shy, sensitive, or still learning how to trust. What sets me apart is my calm, detail-focused approach: • I follow your dog’s routine exactly • I know how to support anxious or rescue pups • I use positive, gentle reinforcement • I keep the environment clean, safe, and supervised • I adjust walks and playtime based on energy and comfort level • I’m comfortable with medication or special needs Your dog will get quiet spaces, predictable routines, soft encouragement, and plenty of affection (only if they want it!).
