1️⃣ PhD-trained pharmacologist and shelter volunteer with extensive cat rescue and fostering experience (e.g., medication administration) and Pet CPR/First Aid certified. As a proud cat mom, I provide reliable, responsible care for both boarding and drop-in visits. 2️⃣ Cat person: Rescued one from China who’s now my baby girl; helped two cats get adopted by local families; fostered another with abandonment trauma and he is now living his best life in Hawaii. 3️⃣ Boarding: Fully remote work and provide 100% company and care. Have almost all market available cat toys, a lot of cat tunnels, scratchers, cat towers. 4️⃣ Boarding: I host one client at a time and offer a separate guest bedroom for your cat. Cats are welcome on furniture and the bed. My resident cats are fully vaccinated and healthy; if you’d like your cat to socialize, I can do careful, supervised introductions or keep them fully separate if you prefer. ‼️ Boarding Requirements: Spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations (FVRCP + rabies), FeLV/FIV negative, and no history of aggression toward people or cats. Medical needs OK (including FeLV/FIV+) for drop in visit.

We recently boarded our cat, Momo, with Qiangnan for two weeks, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the very start, she was so trustworthy and responsible, even hosting a meet-and-greet to put our minds at ease before we headed off on our long trip. She has a dedicated room where Momo felt safe and settled in almost immediately. Qiangnan was so attentive, sending us constant updates while we were abroad. Schedule
I work fully remote and am home most of the day, so your cats get company, enrichment, and frequent check-ins and a lot of playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
Meet & Greet (in person or video chat) to ensure I fully understand your cat’s needs, routines, and any cautions. For drop-in visits, I will follow your care instructions carefully. For boarding, I only take one cat at a time. I’ll treat your cat like my own and make sure they receive plenty of love and attention. I provide plenty of scratchers and do not accept cats with a history of attacking human ( hissing does not count) for no reason or significant damage to carpets. If you’d like your cat to be socialized, I can leave the door open once your cat feels safe, so they can play and get familiar with my cats. If your cat prefers to be alone or seems uncomfortable, I also have a separate room available just for them. I do require that your cat is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, has insurance and previous boarding experience. Must be negative for FeLV and FIV.

A typical day
Every cat is different, so I always take time to understand each pet’s personality and preferences. For example, my cat Bat loves to “hunt,” so I play string and wand games with her to satisfy her instincts. Meimei prefers toys that move under blankets or sheets—she enjoys the mystery! The foster cat I cared for was obsessed with chasing little balls. Whether it’s energetic playtime or quiet bonding, I’ll tailor the activities to what your cat enjoys most, keeping them happy, enriched, and comfortable.
