Hello! My name is Cynthia He.
I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was little. I love and care for them so much that I also know that I also take in caution of studying how to perform animal CPR. I have also in the past volunteer at shelters.

Safety, trust & environment
When I’m in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and follow any instructions closely. I make sure your pet feels safe by giving them time to warm up to me and by never pushing boundaries. I also believe in clear communication, so I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages while you’re away. I’ll gladly provide ID or meet for a short consultation beforehand, so both you and your pet feel 100% comfortable with me. For petting sitting: As with any animal, I will proceed with caution and let them come to me and be comfortable with me on their own. I will not overstep their boundaries and do anything that makes them uncomfortable. Like my pet, I constantly wonder where they are and what they are doing. For W-A-L-K-S I will let your pet sniff as much as they desire and if it safe to do so, roll in grasses, and play as many fetches at the park.

Cynthia is so sweet! Had to go away on an impromptu work trip and she took care of my Mowgli so well. She followed all directions and checked in frequently. It looked like my kitty had a great time with her!
Cynthia is very kind, thorough, listens, and asks a lot of questions so she can be sure your dog is taken care of. I will definitely be using her on repeat! She’s super respectful and communicative, I have an anxious dog and Cynthia did amazing with her.

Schedule
As a recent UC Berkeley graduate who majored in Biological sciences, I am in middle of looking for jobs. When I am free, I love to hang out my dog, Lucky. I love him so much that I am often an overbearing pet owner and cares only about his happiness and need. The same treatment will be applied to your pets and whether that’s early morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening companionship. Because I value the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet, I only take on clients when I can fully commit to giving their pets my time and attention.
