Pet care experience

30 year experienced and big yard

I’ve been a dog lover and dog owner since I was 4 years old. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds and sizes, including a Samoyed, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Corgi, Alaskan Malamute, and a Pug. I’m very comfortable with both medium and large dogs, and I truly enjoy spending time with them and learning their personalities. I also run a Bay Area dog playdate group and have interacted with 500+ dogs, so I have a lot of hands-on experience reading dog body language, helping dogs feel comfortable, and making sure play stays safe and positive. At home, we have a large 12,000 sq ft fenced yard with fans, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, and cool down comfortably. Your pup will get lots of attention, exercise, and love while in my care.

Nova had an amazing time with Qi! She was very well taken care of, and Qi is very knowledgeable about dog behaviour and training - she even helped Nova work through some nervousness around eating near other dogs. Nova is a rescue and has some quirks, but Qi handled her perfectly. I would definitely recommend Qi and her family as dog sitters!

Qi took amazing care of our dogs, Pebbles and Luna, while we were away. Both of our girls are on the anxious side, so finding someone we trust is incredibly important. Qi was patient, attentive, and made them feel comfortable and cared for. We also appreciated how thoughtfully she manages the dogs in her care. Even though she watches multiple dogs, she carefully groups dogs that get along well and makes sure everyone has a safe, positive experience. Her home is very clean and well-maintained, which gave us additional peace of mind. Qi was also fantastic with communication, sending frequent photos and videos so we could see how Pebbles and Luna were doing. We always felt informed and reassured. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Schedule

I work from home, and my younger brother is a student who’s also usually home, so your dog will have plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. We can do two walks per day (about 30 minutes each), plus lots of playtime in our 12,000 sq ft yard where dogs can run freely—typically 4+ hours of outdoor time daily. We feed dogs twice a day (following your instructions), and you’ll get daily updates including at least 5 photos and 1 video so you can see how your pup is doing.
