I am very excited to spend time with your furry family of all sizes, ages, and breeds! My love for animals began the day I first laid eyes on a resilient pup named Ripley. In the 7 years I had the honour of knowing and caring for Ripley, she taught me how to love, respect, nurture, and provide for animals. I continue to provide care for all animals everyday in her memory. I have a 6 year old cat named Lucifer who has taught me so much about patience. Lucifer is an indoor kitty (enjoys going on walks outside) who loves meeting people/dogs! Loving Ripley & Lucifer for years now, I understand how powerful a bond between a human and their animal companions can be. I’d be honoured to care for your furry family in the same way. With volunteer & work experience in animal shelters and boarding facilities, providing for animals is what I do best. If your fur babies enjoy being couch potatoes with the occasional outing, we can have a calm day together. If your fur babies love being outdoors, I have a big yard to play in + we have lot of parks nearby with creeks and big fields for your dog to explore all day long. It is very important to me that your dog/cat have a comfortable stay with me whether they are super hyper-active or nervous/timid, it is what they feel they want to do during their time with me that matters most to me. We can spend the entire time at home sleeping in and go on walks when no one is around if your dog is more into that. I will typically spend time introducing your pets to my home and lifestyle, especially if they are showing signs that they need more time (as my own pets often do). I have no problems adjusting the walks and places we go according to your dog’s interest. If your dog seems like they are really curious about the outdoors, we can spend hours exploring parks in the neighbourhood! If your dog seems to be nervous/afraid of new people and other dogs during walks, I will spend time relaxing them before moving forward during those situations as well as adjust when/where I go for their exercise. I have a fully fenced in yard for your dog to safely enjoy all day long. On leash and off leash play time is dependent on you and your dog’s comfort level. Cats have their own private space to relax in. I will slowly introduce myself to your furry family if they are showing signs of nervousness/aggression. Patience is key with all my services! This and much more will be discussed during our first meeting. I have a huge love and respect for our furry friends, treating them with the love they all deserve! I am working with Rover full-time. My schedule is very flexible for drop-in visits, dog walks, house sittings, and day-cares/boarding. My life revolves around animals! I have officially completed my Veterinary Assistant certification to further my career in the animal field. Caring for animals has always been my #1 priority.
