I'm currently not working full time so I am free to focus more on pet care! I prefer house sitting as I can be on my laptop for work as needed. For drop ins, I am available in the afternoons and evenings almost every day, and select mornings.

When caring for your cats, I know I am caring for your loved ones. I'll ask what their behaviors and habits are, if they're more shy then I'd like to know if there is anything specific to be more wary of, and what I can do to make them more comfortable and feel safe. Especially for longer sits, I prefer to spend more time just in the presence on your pets so they get comfortable with me. I love bonding with cats by brushing them if they enjoy that. If I happen to be watching your cat in my home, I'd ask you to bring at least 1 cat bed and/or blanket they love, or even a sweatshirt of yours. In my experience, this provides some security to them as they still have a familiar scent around. I also will start using Feliway about 24 hours before a sit.

Let me know if their are any quirks or certain behaviors your pets dislike, such as a certain way they dislike or prefer for pets. Let me know if they eat to fast and I need to watch that, or if they don't drink water easily and I need to pay extra attention to it.
A typical day
I'll make sure your cats get plenty of stimulation. Either before or after their meal (depending on their tolerance! Lol) we'll play with some toys. I'll get some activity in by running around with a string toy. we'll spend time later relaxing and petting them!

I adopted my own cats during my 4th year in college, but I've been a cat parent my whole life. My family has had cats since I was 6 years old, and my childhood cats lived to be 16 & 19! I did some pet sitting - cat sitting and dog walking - during summer breaks in high school. I've been cat sitting as my main/side income for the past 3-4 years. I have experince administering meds for cats: oral pills and liquid/syringes. eye drops. creams/lotions/ointments (eyes, ears, face, and body). needles/injections (i.e. insulin). I've also fostered kittens and had longer adult foster cats. For me, my cats & pets are my fur children, and I know how sacred that bond is. I will always treat your cat with the same love and care!

Priya was absolutely amazing. Great communicator, caretaker, and just thoughtful all around. She took such great care of our cat Kilo and sent us daily updates with photos for the week we were out. Kilo took to her the second she walked through the door. Not only did she take such great care of Kilo, she was also so thoughtful while house sitting. We were so lucky to find Priya on rover. Priya is the most loving, caring, kind, compassionate pet parent and pet care taker ever!! She is a cat/dog whisperer, and her loving persona draws these sweet pets immediately close to her. She has taken care of several of our cats- she knows how to take care of them. She is very personable in nature, respectful and courteous to the human parents and provides the utmost customer service as well. You can trust your loving fur baby completely in her care, and know that they will be loved and taken care of.
Priya is amazing! So caring and thoughtful. She took care of my babies (Salem and Gypsy) my two cats for a year. Each time I came to visit my babies it was clear she loved them deeply, they were safe and taken care of. I highly recommend Priya ❤️
