Pet care experience
Hi there! I've loved dogs ever since I can remember. I was finally lucky enough to get my own dog in 2007. Buddy was my amazing companion and taught me so much. He unfortunately passed away in 2022 and I was/still am devestated. I'm excited to be able to surround myself with dogs (as my hubby and I are not mentally ready to get another one). My husband is amazing with dogs, he always treated my dog as his own (one of the reasons why I fell in love with him)! I am a home-based travel agent with Travel Best Bets which allows me to book trips for you and watch your pup while you're away! This also allows me to have an extremely flexible schedule to better care for your pup! I love exploring new trails and parks, taking pictures and I have tons of toys and games and enrichment for your dog. We look forward to sharing our home and hearts with your pup!
Reviews
Priya took such wonderful care of our "particular" pups and he just loved her. Would absolutely book with her again (and we have). Thank you again for being so good with him :)
Priya was awesome with our dog Bluey and we’ll definitely be asking for her services again! Priya was very attentive and Bluey instantly recognized her as a friend :)
Always does a great job taking care of our dog. Regular walks and lots of updates. Thank you!
Our dog was happy to stay with Priya for four days. We receive daily updates with photos and videos, so we never felt disconnected from our puppy. Priya is professional: she organised a meet and greet before the stay to ensure that the dog is comfortable, answered all of our questions and showed a sincere interest in the habits and behaviour of our golden. While being away we knew that our dog was in great hands.

I live in a dog friendly condo in Port Coquitlam. I'm on the ground floor for easy accessibility. There are several parks and trails near my place. I have a car to take dogs further out of Poco to try new parks and trails. I also have dog stairs for easy accessibility for small or older dogs to get onto the couch or bed. I also have a dog stroller to take on walks if I have dogs of different energy levels. My husband also helps me out with taking care of the dogs when he's home. He's great with them, one of the reasons I fell in love with him, he treated my dog like his. All the dogs are allowed on the bed and couch.

Information Priya G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any dietary concerns and any physical and mental needs. Also let me know what specific commands they know/how they communicate (is. Verbal vs hand communication). I also like to know they're normal bowel movement just so I have a baseline to go by.
A typical day
Typical day depends on your dog's specific requirements. Usually we will get up and go for a walk with lots of sniffing in the morning. When we return breakfast is served. During the day, pee breaks are every 2/3 hours, we play and train (doing old tricks or learning new ones), have some snuggles and a nap. Then typically in the evening we would go for another exciting walk and have dinner once we return home. And then there will be a final pee break before bed!

Availability
Being an home-based travel agent with no structured schedule makes it easy for me to be flexible with my schedule. I'm available for daily walks (whichever length is needed), daily dog sitting (at my condo) and overnight boarding (at my condo). I provide lots of toys, healthy treats and snacks and puzzles for enrichment. My condo is in Port Coquitlam and I'm on the ground floor for easy accessibility. Must be potty trained.
