Sicherheit, Vertrauen & Umgebung

I would follow any rules set by the Pet Parent/Parents while within their home. Examples include, administering medication on time, set feeding schedules and set play times.

Informationen, die Princess R. gerne über dein Haustier wissen möchte

Are they friendly with other dogs? Does your pet have any allergies or past medical conditions, and are their vaccines up to date? Has your pet ever bitten anyone?

Ein typischer Tag

We would have plenty of play time as well as walks. I would enjoy taking your cat for a walk as well, they would just need to have a harness. If there are any dog parks near by, I would be more than happy to take your dog to meet other pets and have play dates.

Princess did a great job of taking care of our cats. She went above and beyond with our cat that takes daily medicine and can be a bit difficult/shy. It felt great to know she was getting her meds and they were all well Taken care of while we were gone. Would ask her to pet sit again!

Princess seemed great at first, as she was quick to respond when booking and came to a meet and greet, so I was hopeful she would be my new sitter as I just moved, but unfortunately it ended up being my worst Rover experience in 3 years. I've had two steady sitters and several one-time sitters when my usual was not available, but I've never left a review like this--and I have great reviews from my previous sitters, so I'm not just an insane pet owner either. I genuinely feel the safety of my two cats would have been at risk if Princess had sat for them longer than just a day trip. She did not follow clear instructions that were both written in detail on Rover care instructions and also reviewed with her in person. She did not even review the Rover care instructions before the meet and greet or the actual sitting because the day of sitting she asked if I had a PDF of the instructions, and I reminded her again that I wrote them all on Rover care instructions. She was also very unprofessional when I tried to address the issues with her directly afterwards, as she did not show accountability for any mistakes and just stopped replying altogether. If she had offered explanations, maybe I would've understood what happened and not needed to leave such a low review. So I'm going to be detailed about the issues that occurred to serve as both feedback for her, and also for prospective clients to make informed decisions. 1) The most important issue was that she did not administer medications correctly to my two cats, despite knowing Mucho has been undergoing a clean out from his vet for severe constipation for the past 3 weeks--and still ended up in the ER six days before the sitting. To make meds easy, I open the capsules of the meds into small labeled baggies for each cat, with the liquid treats on the counter so it's easy for sitters to just dump the bag in and mix it. I also left written instructions for meds next to them just in case. Mucho had additional dissolvable tablets and liquid meds to give because of the recent issues. When I got home, Mucho's baggie had 1/3 the powder left in it, and Biscuit's was not emptied at all--but her liquid treat was gone like she had been given meds, which made me worried she was given Mucho's or something. When I sent messages with a photo of the baggies to clarify what exactly was given so I could give what was missed and not double dose anything, she initially ignored it altogether and only answered a question another question I asked. I sent a follow up and she just said she did not miss any meds and ignored the photo like I never sent it. I reiterated that the photo shows she could not have given the meds correctly and that it was dangerous if I double dosed or missed meds, so I just wanted to know so I could appropriately administer whatever was missed. She said I should "administer medications as usual" and ignored the photo again. I sent one more message trying to clarify what was given and again reiterated it was for safety reasons that I really needed to know, but she never replied again after that, which is the most blatant disregard for my pet's well-being that I've ever seen from a sitter, especially considering Mucho was in the ER six days prior. 2) She was only sitting for one day trip and just had to feed them twice in the evening, but only fed them once. I could tell because Biscuit's bowl was empty when I got home at 930pm and she was acting antsy like she does when she wants food, which wouldn't be the case if she was fed at 730-830pm as instructed. Princess would not directly answer how many scoops she gave no matter how I asked the question, she just said things like "it's fine to give another scoop". She said she fed them at 5pm and they had food in their bowls when she left, which was a roundabout way of saying she could not have given them their two meals. I never instructed her to feed based on how much food was in the bowl; I wrote what times they are fed and expected that to be followed. I even told her the end of the booking would be at 730pm because that's the earliest they can get their second evening meal. 3) I asked for an update if Mucho pooped because of the GI issues, and she said "He sure did". I asked for more info like size/caliber, and she sent a photo. I could tell from the photo it couldn't be his because it was way too normal, and then checked the camera outside my litterbox and saw only Biscuit had gone into that box at all while I was gone. If she wasn't sure, she shouldn't have said which cat did it. She also asked if she should scoop it and I confirmed she should (which was already in the instructions and discussed in person). She said okay, but she just never scooped it. I didn't even get to ask her about why she didn't scoop it because she was already not responding anymore to the more important inquiries from above.

Princess took great care of my little monster! He had been recovering from some health issues and she went above and beyond, making sure he was eating and well cared for. Will definitely book her again!

Very communicative and paid very good attention to my dog. My dog is leash reactive and hyperactive and she was able to give him all the attention he needed.
