My husband and I have both grown up with pets and have continued caring for animals throughout our adult lives. We have extensive hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, and we currently care for a variety of animals in our home, including fish, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, a hamster, and hermit crabs. This has given us a strong understanding of different care needs, routines, and behaviors across species. We’re attentive, patient, and comfortable following specific instructions — whether that’s maintaining feeding schedules, administering basic care, or helping pets feel calm and safe in a new environment. We truly treat every pet as if they were our own.

Wow!! We had a boarding set up with another Rover family but unfortunately - it was not going to be a good fit. I quickly messaged Princesa - as this was the day we were to leave for the long memorial weekend - and she responded almost instantly! They were Incredibly flexible offering to meet for public pick up on our way out of town or bring her to their home based on our needs. Our pup had an AMAZING time and we were updated with pictures and texts daily. We were able to enjoy our holiday weekend with our minds at ease knowing our pup was well taken care of!!!! Thank you so much!!!! This was our first time using Rover and will definitely be boarding with them in the future!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Princesa was absolutely wonderful with my dog Juneau. Juneau can be a bit anxious, so I’m always a little nervous leaving her—but Princesa immediately put me at ease. She was so warm and welcoming at drop-off, and it was clear right away that Juneau was in caring, capable hands. Throughout her stay, Princesa kept me updated with messages and photos, which I really appreciated. It meant so much to see Juneau looking relaxed, comfortable, and happy—it gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Princesa, her family, and their dogs were all fantastic and helped Juneau feel right at home. They also have a large, beautiful property that’s perfect for dogs to roam, explore, and just be dogs—Juneau loved having that space. I’m so grateful for the care she received and would absolutely book with Princesa again. Highly recommend!
Emmy had the best time! She was loved by the family and got a ton of great play time with the other pups there. Would highly recommend!
Princesa and Brad were just awesome! They yook pictures and gave updates. Their family was perfect foe our dogs to have a vacation of their own.
The Hansens are a kind and pet loving family. They have had and do have a diverse variety of pets. Princesa has been very diligent about learning to care for the pets and to understand their behavior. She always teaches her family how to care their pets and take care of their interesting and quirky needs. She is informed and experienced in caring for a pets needs. She has been willing to volunteer to help family and friends out by “boarding” their pets when needed. She has helped in finding and rescuing “lost” animals. She is generous and big-hearted and always eager to help others.

Schedule
Because we work from home, pet care naturally fits into our daily routine. We’re around throughout the day to provide attention, playtime, feeding, and companionship, not just quick check-ins. Our flexible schedule allows us to adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that means extra cuddles, medication reminders, or keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away.

We care for pets as if they are part of our own family. In our home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play safely. We live on 10 acres, which allows for supervised outdoor time, walks, and fresh air, and we also have a large outdoor kennel available when appropriate for a pet’s comfort and safety. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we focus on consistency, attentiveness, and respect for each pet’s routine. We follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any special requests closely. We make it a priority to be responsive, communicative, and attentive so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident while they’re away.

With 10 acres we have endless options for fun pet activities! A typical day is full of enrichment and fun! We offer a variety of safe walks, outdoor exploration, and plenty of space for playtime like fetch and free roaming (as appropriate). Pets love watching wildlife, sniffing new trails, and enjoying fresh air, balanced with indoor relaxation, cuddles, and attentive care. We tailor activities to each pet’s energy level, age, and preferences so they feel happy, stimulated, and at home.
