Lastly, I always ensure I have emergency contact information, including their vet’s details, to be fully prepared for any situation.
A typical day
When caring for pets, I love engaging them in fun and stimulating activities tailored to their personalities. For dogs, I enjoy playing fetch, going on walks or hikes, and spending time teaching basic commands or tricks. If they enjoy it, tug-of-war, visits to a dog park, or splashing in a kiddie pool can add even more excitement. For cats, I like using toys like feather wands or laser pointers to keep them active and entertained. I also enjoy brushing their fur, setting up cozy spots for them to watch the world, or simply giving them plenty of cuddles and attention. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and relaxed while in my care.

I have lived with animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and other pets. I’ve also volunteered with a dog adoption agency that focuses on elderly dogs, giving me valuable experience in caring for senior pets. In addition, I have pet-sitting experience with animals of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to older dogs and cats. This background has helped me develop the skills and patience needed to provide exceptional care for pets at every stage of life. Additionally, with working with elderly dogs, I have dealt with all sorts of different medical conditions and have experience administering medications.

Our experience with Preston was great for both of our pets. We have one cat and a dog and he did well with both. He checked in about once a day which was perfect for us. He met our expectations and then some. We plan to hire him again soon!

Preston has been great with my animals. He is always prompt and all three of my animals love to see him (especially my cat) My cat typically hides but when Preston comes he is immediately vocal looking for hugs.
