Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m a Belmont University nursing student with a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. On Mondays and Thursdays I have classes in the morning and afternoon, but I’m able to stop home between classes for walks, potty breaks, and playtime. Tuesdays I’m available all day, and Wednesdays I’m done with clinical by the afternoon, so evenings are always open for longer walks and time with pets. Because I live in Germantown near parks and walking areas, I make sure dogs get regular walks and outdoor time. I also enjoy staying active, so taking dogs out for exercise fits easily into my routine. Overall, I structure my day to make sure pets are getting attention, exercise, and care consistently throughout the day.

When pets stay in my home, I treat them like they are my own. I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and part of the routine. I prioritize plenty of walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. Since I live in Germantown near parks and great walking areas, dogs get regular exercise and time outside. I also follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any special instructions from the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the environment they are used to so they feel relaxed and secure. I make sure they are fed on time, get walks and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and organized and always respect the space. Owners can expect regular updates, photos, and communication so they feel confident their pet is in good hands while they are away.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their normal routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible for them. This includes their feeding schedule, walk schedule, and any medications or special care they may need. I also like to know their energy level, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. It’s also helpful to know how they interact with other dogs, people, and new environments, especially if they will be going on walks or visiting parks. Knowing their comfort level with things like being left alone, crate training, or sleeping arrangements helps me make sure they feel safe and relaxed. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet has a comfortable, fun, and stress-free stay.

I love keeping pets active and engaged, so I make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention while they’re with me. Since I live in Germantown near parks and walking areas, dogs can expect regular walks, time outside, and lots of opportunities to explore. If the owner is comfortable with it, I also enjoy taking dogs to the local dog park and different hikes around Nashville so they can run around, explore, and socialize. Beyond walks, I make sure pets get plenty of playtime with toys, enrichment activities, and lots of affection. Every pet is different, so I always try to match their energy level, whether that means going on longer walks with an active dog or spending time relaxing and giving extra cuddles to a calmer pet. My goal is to make sure pets feel happy, comfortable, and entertained while their owners are away

Hi! My name is Presley and I’m a Belmont University nursing student living in Germantown. I have loved animals my entire life and grew up on a farm where we had dogs, cats, chickens, goats, sheep, and horses. Because of that, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. When I was 12, I became fully responsible for my miniature horse and goat, which meant feeding them, cleaning stalls, and making sure they were well cared for every day. I later began riding and showing horses, which taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and understanding animals’ different personalities. Because of my background, I am very comfortable with animals of all sizes and temperaments and am never timid around pets. What Your Pet Can Expect: Living in Germantown is perfect for dogs because I’m close to parks and great walking areas. I believe it’s really important that dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and stimulation, so I prioritize long walks, playtime, and lots of affection. Your pet will receive: • Plenty of walks and outdoor time • Lots of attention and play • A calm, loving environment What You Can Expect: As a nursing student, responsibility, communication, and organization are extremely important to me. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I make sure to keep owners updated with pictures and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. If I am staying in your home, I am very respectful of your space and pride myself on leaving it just as clean as when you left. My goal is to make sure your pets are happy, safe, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
