My own dog recently passed, so I'm coming back to Rover after a brief hiatus with even more availability and a deeper appreciation for the love pets provide us. I used to volunteer with several rescue groups around Houston. I have experience with a variety of ages of dogs from rambunctious puppies, senior citizens, as well as naughty but loveable alphas, and I do not discriminate by breed. I have pet sat for friends and neighbors throughout my adult life for dogs of all kinds - moody chihuahuas to very particular german shepherds with raw food diets. I look forward to taking care of your loved one(s) and giving you that peace of mind that your fur babies are in good hands!

We’ve booked Preetika to watch our husky Nova a couple times and we’re so happy we did. You can tell Preetika has experience with dogs and sends lots of pictures to put you at ease while you’re away. Nova looks like she’s having the best time when she’s there. We will be booking with Preetika again in the future.
Preetika is amazing and took such good care of Poppy. Poppy jumped in her carry tote after we got home and looked at the door to tell us she wants to go back right away!
Preetika did an amazing job taking care of our buddy. She is very well versed in handling dogs. For our first time leaving Mocha with someone else, she helped put our mind at ease sending pictures of Mocha having the best time with her. We would highly recommend Preetika for anyone else looking for a dog sitter, and we will be using her in the future!
Preetika was absolutely great with our dog Ollie. This was our first time using Rover and we could not have asked for a more positive experience. Preetika was so loving and caring with the pups. I could tell she was a wonderful dog parent when I spent time with her and her dog, Jet. He was very sweet, friendly, but also a good listener. She was also really flexible and generous when travels caused an unexpected change in pick up time. I would recommend Preetika to anyone who wants to leave their dog surrounded by love and care while you're away!
Preetika was a great joy to work with when we needed a sitter for our pets. She proved to be reliable and trustworthy and very responsive to any questions we had when we were out of town. We would absolutely rebook her in the future!

Schedule
I'm a freelance artist, so my schedule is fairly flexible and allows me to spend a lot of time with your dog(s), either walking or sitting.

When it comes to your domain, I will follow all your particular rules, regulations, and training even if those puppy eyes demand to get on that couch! And I love rewarding good behavior with T-R-E-A-T-S. I also love sending pics to my clients of their furry family so be prepared to get updates (unless specified otherwise)!
A typical day
I love going to parks in my area as well as just exploring different neighborhoods in town with the pups. Walking around Heights Blvd or White Oak bayou are my favorites.
