Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by animals of all kinds—cows, goats, chickens, dogs, and more. Caring for them wasn’t just a chore; it was a way of life. Because of that, taking care of pets comes naturally to me. Whether it’s feeding, grooming, or just giving them the love and attention they need, I instinctively know how to handle animals with patience and care.

My puppy Kana recovered from her illness thanks to the sitters. The day before I had to leave for a week-long work event in DFW from Austin, Kana ended up in the emergency room. She was very sick with what was believed to be a contagious illness, and the ER sent us home with medications and a strict treatment plan. I had already arranged boarding, but every boarding facility canceled because they couldn't accept a dog with a potentially contagious illness which is completely understandable. For the next 12 hours, I was desperately messaging Rover sitters, trying to find someone who would be willing to care for her. I received so many rejections that I was on the verge of canceling my work trip entirely. Then these kind ladies came along. In less than 10 minutes, they accepted my request without hesitation. From our first conversation, it was obvious they had experience caring for sick dogs, and that gave me an incredible sense of relief. Instead of making me feel like Kana was "too much," they reassured me that they would do everything they could to help her. Because of them, I was actually able to attend my work event. If they hadn't stepped in when they did, I would have had to miss it. While kana stayed with them, they followed every medication and care instruction from the emergency vet. They sent me frequent updates, photos, and videos, which made all the difference. Knowing she was in such capable hands allowed me to focus on work instead of constantly worrying. Kana came home happy, healthy, and clean. They bathed her before I picked her up. Entrusting someone with a puppy who had been in the ER just the day before is on a completely different level. They handled everything with kindness, confidence, and professionalism, and I truly don't know how to thank them enough. If I ever need a sitter in the DFW area again, they will be the very first people I contact. I recommend them to anyone looking for someone who knows what they're doing.

Pratima was great with my dog Rex! She would update and send photos every 3 hours. She was very responsive and Rex seems to have had a great time with her and her family. I would definitely recommend.
Ms. Pratima and family were a huge help. This is my first time using Rover and outside of a pet boarding facility. I enjoyed everything about this app. I’m so happy to have found Ms. Pratima. She took great care of ginger and her needs especially since she’s a senior dog, with special needs. Everyday, I received a notification of pictures and videos of my pup and I’m very happy with the results. I know it’s not easy for pet parents to leave their babies behind, but rest assured. My fur baby looked so happy and in great spirits. I will definitely come back again and with Ms. Pratima. Thank you.

Schedule
Beyond basic pet sitting, I have experience training puppies, caring for senior pets, and handling animals with special needs. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, a structured routine, or gentle care in their older years, I’m here to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for. We don’t do big dogs for boarding we focus on 0-15 lbs or something close.

Now, as a professional pet sitter, my daily and weekly routine revolves around making sure every pet I care for is happy, healthy, and well looked after. From morning walks and feeding schedules to playtime, training, and even senior pet care, I tailor my days to fit each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s a midday check-in, an overnight stay, or specialized care, I’m fully dedicated to giving pets the love and attention they need while their owners are away.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love engaging them in fun activities like interactive play with toys, scenic walks, and cuddle time. We’ll play fetch, enjoy outdoor adventures, and even have puzzle games for mental stimulation. If they love socializing, we’ll visit a pet-friendly park. For relaxation, belly rubs and cozy nap time are a must. Every pet gets personalized attention to ensure they’re happy, active, and loved! I will also put in classical music as I’m a huge Music person.
