I was more than pleased at how thorough and helpful Pratik and his wife were during our 21 day absence from home. He adjusted to each of our two dogs' personalities and sent pictures of them to us. The house was left in excellent condition, clean and organized. Pratik kept in regular communication with us so we never had any worries. I am organized, reliable, and mindful of timing, which allows me to be consistent with each pet’s routine. Whether it’s daily drop-ins, short-term care, or extended bookings, I prioritize being punctual and dependable. I communicate clearly about my availability and always plan ahead to ensure I can provide attentive, focused care for every booking.

I take safety, trust, and cleanliness very seriously in both my home and my clients’ homes. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure each pet’s routine, diet, and preferences are respected. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care as my own. I’m mindful of security at all times, making sure doors and windows are properly locked, alarms are set if required, and keys are handled responsibly. I maintain a clean and organized environment and always leave the home as I found it. I work to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their familiar routines, sleeping areas, and daily habits. I understand that staying in their own home can be especially reassuring for many pets, and I do my best to create a calm, consistent environment while their owners are away. I am attentive to each pet’s behavior and well being and watch closely for any changes that may indicate stress or discomfort. If anything seems out of the ordinary, I communicate promptly and transparently with the owner. I provide regular updates and photos and aim to build trust through reliability, honesty, and consistent care. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel confident, comfortable, and completely at ease throughout every booking.

A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and preferences. For dogs, this can include walks, gentle play, outdoor time (if appropriate), and interactive games like fetch or tug. I also enjoy spending quiet time together, whether that’s relaxing, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping them company. For cats, I offer playtime with wand toys, laser pointers, and enrichment toys, as well as brushing (if they enjoy it), window watching, and calm companionship. I respect each cat’s boundaries and let them choose how they want to interact. I also like to include mental stimulation through puzzle toys, basic training reinforcement (if requested), and gentle routines that keep pets engaged without overwhelming them. Most importantly, I focus on making sure every pet feels comfortable, happy, and cared for, whether that means active play, quiet bonding time, or a mix of both.
