I also appreciate knowing about any medical needs, medications, allergies, fears, triggers, or special instructions from their family. Every pet is unique, and my goal is to make their time with me as comfortable, stress-free, and enjoyable as possible while keeping their normal routine.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is filled with love, attention, and keeping them happy and comfortable in their routine. I start by making sure they are fed, have fresh water, get bathroom breaks, and receive plenty of affection. Throughout the day, I enjoy spending quality time with them through walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of cuddles. For fun, I love taking dogs on enjoyable walks where they can explore new smells and surroundings, playing fetch, practicing basic commands, and giving them interactive toys or puzzle activities. For cats, I enjoy play sessions with toys, gentle brushing if they like it, and creating a calm environment where they feel safe and loved. My goal is always to make pets feel like they are at home and have a fun, stress-free experience while their family is away.

For over three years, I’ve dedicated myself to caring for local strays, making sure they had food, clean shelter, baths, and the medications they needed to thrive. My passion for helping animals grew as I volunteered as an Adoption Process Specialist, guiding families through the joys and responsibilities of adoption, including understanding cat health, vet visits, and the cost of care. Most recently, I’ve had the privilege of working as a dog daycare handler, where I spent my days ensuring pups were happy, safe, and well-socialized. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s who I am.
