I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, so being around animals has never felt like work, it just feels normal. Our home always had two or more dogs at a time (of all sizes), so I’m very comfortable juggling big personalities, different energy levels, and all the chaos that comes with a happy pack. My family used to breed Mastiffs, which means I truly grew up raising puppies. I was there for the tiny, clumsy stages, the early training moments, and all the cuddles in between. Helping care for litters taught me patience, structure, and how important consistency is, especially with large breeds. I’ve also loved and cared for senior dogs (fostering), small dogs (had a couple little pomeranians), so I understand the softer side of things too. Slower walks, extra gentleness, watching closely for comfort and mobility, and making sure they still feel safe and happy. Animals have always been family to me. I’m big on affection, routine, and making sure every pet feels secure and spoiled in the best way. Whether your dog loves long walks, play sessions, or just being someone’s shadow, I’m happy to meet them exactly where they are.

I’ve had Portia look after my dog a handful of times now, and I honestly never worry when he’s with her!! She’s so naturally warm and attentive, and you can tell she genuinely loves being around animals. My dog gets excited the second he sees her, which says everything. She’s reliable, easy to communicate with, and really respectful of my home and routines. I always come back to a happy, well cared for pup. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust with their dog.

Harmonogram
Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I work Monday to Friday from 9 to 5, which makes me a great option for evening walks, check ins, and overnights during the week. I’m fully available on weekends, so I can dedicate plenty of time to longer stays or more active pups who need extra attention.

I live in a house with two other girls who also love animals, so it’s a welcoming home environment with space and flexibility. Your pet’s routine and comfort always come first, and I’m happy to stick closely to whatever they’re used to. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel a little vulnerable because they’re family. I care for animals the same way I care for my own, with a lot of attention, patience, and love. I’m careful about things like doors, gates, and sticking to their normal routine because I know how important those small details are. Whether I’m in your home or they’re in mine, I want them to feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for, not just “watched.”
