I’m extremely safety conscious and use backup measures to make sure that your pets are kept away from harm. * I have 2 front doors and 2 back doors so there’s so there’s always a closed door so your dog can’t accidentally escape. * I leash up/remove leashes while inside so that your dog can't run free in a split second. * In addition to always having a secure grip, I also use a large carabiner to keep your dog leashed safely to my crossbody dog walking bag.

I would like to know as many details as possible before visiting/walking your pets. * When and how much your pet gets fed. (Please include scoops with dry food.) * Do you have any routines before or after feeding? * Where do you keep their leash, collar, toys, treats, food, medications, etc? * Where do you keep household supplies to clean up any accidents, replace trash bags, etc.. * Does your pet have any allergies? * Local emergency contact; a trustworthy friend/family/coworker in case I can’t get ahold of you. * Veterinarian contact information, including your pet's last name on file at your vet’s office. * Daily schedule - Does your pet get walked? If so, how long and do you keep a specific schedule? A treat at a certain time or before/after a certain activity? Crating? * How does your dog react to other dogs, people, bicycles, cats, squirrels, etc. while on a walk? * Does your dog know commands? How well does your dog walk on leash; loose leash, pulls, etc.? * Is your dog food motivated? * What are their favorite toys? * Are there any current or recent health or behavioral issues? Are there any previous health issues that might come up? For example, does your dog get a nervous tummy in new places? Do they refuse food if they're nervous or in a new location?
A typical day
I follow the pace of your dog. Is your dog all business while on a walk? Fantastic- I welcome the exercise! Does your dog prefer to stroll and sniff? Sounds great! I always appreciate the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely stroll. If ball time in your backyard is a better fit, just let me know!

I absolutely love pets! I adore anything with paws. At a party, I always seek out the resident dog or cat to say hello. I carry a leash, cat carrier, food, and water in my car, just in case I encounter a dog or cat in need. Pet sitting isn’t merely a “side gig” for me. I have professional experience in pet care and dedicated numerous hours volunteering with local rescues and shelters. I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats, administering oral, transdermal, and injection medications.
