I love pretty much all dogs and enjoy taking them on adventures! I live near lots of beloved spots, including those accessible to dogs with special needs. Whether your beloved prefers intense urban hikes and swims or tender home care and slow movement, I’ve got them taken care of. My heart is especially drawn to the ones who need special care and attunement, such as seniors, disabled dogs, and ornery small ones. My own little angel (recently passed) was very anxiously attached, required medication administration 3-4 times a day, did not enjoy being pet due to pain, and needed to be carried a lot -- but still enjoyed outdoor adventures and had his own ways of showing love. I am patient with dogs that take time to warm up or who have special needs. I have experience with dogs who require diapering, manual bladder and bowel expression due to paralysis, assistive devices, subcutaneous medication administration, and other needs, as well as those with some behavioral issues. I am very comfortable with elderly creatures. Please include information about your animal and their needs in your message and plan for a meet-and-greet. I require either a drop-in visit or a walk before accepting a boarding request for a new client. Thank you!
